Huckleberry Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Pumped for this thread. Feel free to take your first post as far as you like. Anywhere from just responding to Consuelo, all the way to seeing the stage for their crime patrol.
Huckleberry Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 So, feel free to start setting the stage for La Puma Negra's patrol in your next post, if you would like. If you'd prefer me to queue it up, also happy to roll that way.
Huckleberry Posted December 3, 2023 Author Posted December 3, 2023 @MoonSimply Can you give me a Notice Check for La Puma Negra? I'll go ahead and roll one for Rot too.
Huckleberry Posted December 3, 2023 Author Posted December 3, 2023 @MoonSimply I got some feedback that I should be clearly designating PC posts and GM posts in threads I've started. It's a little different than what I've been doing so far, basically just treating Consuelo as an NPC for threads I started. So, I've been digesting that. I think what I'll do is make a post for Consuelo and then make a GM post moving things forward. Thanks for your patience.
Huckleberry Posted December 5, 2023 Author Posted December 5, 2023 La Puma Negra can make a sense motive skill check
Huckleberry Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 Carmen gets the distinct impression that these might just be kids getting into some mischief, rather than hardened criminals after a score.
Huckleberry Posted December 8, 2023 Author Posted December 8, 2023 Over to La Puma Negra . . . unless she's just going to watch - in which case I can do another GM post.
MoonSimply Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Notice Roll getting a 33 for what that top is they are looking at.
Huckleberry Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 It's shiny, black, and saucer-shaped. It's spinning very fast and hovering about two inches off the ground. She can see it clearly, but might not have much context for knowing what it is. A lucky roll on an intelligence check might give La Puma Negra an idea of what it is. Since LPN asked Rot, I'll have her roll one too. Rot's Int Check: 7 - So Rot basically has no idea what it is. Maybe La Puma Negra will do better?
Huckleberry Posted December 15, 2023 Author Posted December 15, 2023 Hmmm, actually, here's a nicer thing. How about we count that 19 you rolled on that d20 AS your intelligence check, which is good enough to get you some information. . . . I'll include what Carmen remembers in the next GM post.
Huckleberry Posted December 22, 2023 Author Posted December 22, 2023 Happy holidays. Unplugging for a few days.
MoonSimply Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 All goodz I'm gonna post soon and then take my break for a day or two
Huckleberry Posted December 29, 2023 Author Posted December 29, 2023 @MoonSimply If you'd like, you could make a post for Carmen right after the noisy crash. Or, if you'd prefer, I could move the scene forward a little more first.
Huckleberry Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Go ahead and make an initiative roll before your next post. The guard got a 3 Rot got 11
Huckleberry Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 La Puma Negra definitely goes first. She and Rot are 30 feet up in the air in the roof truss above. The three teens and the gunman are all within 20 feet of each other. Outside of the flashlight beams, the room is dark, but Carmen can see the man is armed with a semi-automatic pistol and is wearing a bullet-proof vest. There are a large assortment of heavy steel objects lying about that would make excellent improvised melee or thrown weapons. The group below is about 60 feet away from the door the gunman came from. Go wild.
Huckleberry Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Alright, with the height drop and the heaviness of the drum, I'll say that's like str+3 damage. It hits, for DC 24 Toughness check. He rolls really well, and gets a 19, which would have him bruised and dazed, but he's a minion, so he's KO'd, and we're out of combat. I'll get a game post up.
Huckleberry Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Combat is over. Carmen could chase after the kids, take a closer look at the mysterious object, check out the guy she just bodied, inspect the door he came from, or anything, really.
Huckleberry Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 A couple more guards have entered the room. Carmen can see them, but they haven't seen the heroes yet. Carmen can take a surprise round (hiding, attacking, etc.). After that, we'll roll for initiative.
Huckleberry Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 Let's add a +2 circumstance modifier for all the great places to hide in this warehouse, making Puma's roll an even 30 Meanwhile, Consuelo rolls a 17 One of the guards will gawk at the guy Carmen donkey konged. The other will get a notice check as he looks around, but at -2 in the dark. Rolls horribly, getting a 4. So neither hero is noticed, and can observe the guards, I'll get a post up about what they see and hear soon.
