Thunder King Posted January 31 Posted January 31 John's gonna take a swipe at one of the Gorilla people, to start the process of getting them put down; 13 Probably isn't enough.
Supercape Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Actually, it does! (Def an dATt +2) And 18 for tough save will put one down! As you have takedown attack, I guess you want to knock the others?
Supercape Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 (edited) As per chat - ill take the liberty of rolling the take down effects. You can take 10 as they are minions, auto hitting them all. 5 Gorillas left 17 22 15 24 29 I think its a DC 23 Tough save so you can knock down a total of 4 with 2 left upstanding. Does that sound ok? Edited January 31 by Supercape
Thunder King Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Current events 20 Search 28 Well that's convenient. Edited February 3 by Thunder King
Supercape Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 thats pretty awesome! So for starters, its clear the truck was transporting the strange purple liquid, and that it is transforming people (and rats) into Gorilla-human hybrids. The truck was poorly storing the chemicals - hence the leak. It looks (Civics skill is good enough for John to know) like this was a cheap and illegal transport. The paperwork in the truck shows it was going to be delivered to the circus in town - "PRIMAL FEAR", a circus/horror show hybrid. John remembers something about Primal Fear being caught up in some scandal and forcibly shut down / removed from a couple of medium sized cities near Bedlam.
Supercape Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Awesome... high enough nobody half asleep will notice you (unless you want to). Anything in particular you are looking for? And if so, appropriate search / knowledge rolls?
Thunder King Posted February 14 Posted February 14 21 For search, looking for anything suspicious, especially where they might store things. Or an area where things that are stored secretly might be kept.
Supercape Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Awesome; a good roll Some things he might notice: 1. Animals are being kept in rather poor conditions. Not to the torture level, but certainly a bit mangy, cells dirty and cramped etc. 2. There is signs of illicit drug use (smells, needles, etc) 3. You can dfind some sealed barrels locked up in a hut, looking just like the barrels that were being delivered by the truck.
Thunder King Posted February 14 Posted February 14 ...can he call a local EPA office? The Environmental Protection Agency. He might not know the number but he can find it. I think he might be able to trust them to figure things out. In the mean time, he's going to keep snooping around to see if he can find something else concrete that he can use.
Supercape Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Sure Could you roll a knowledge (civics) for any such call? We can RP it of course, but just to see how effective John is.
Thunder King Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Civics of 14 Gonna let that one stand. Maybe they'll listen to it, maybe they won't.
Supercape Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 I think thats probably at the level of "Yeah. Its on the waiting list...." So they will come but not in the middle of the night. But lets RP it out.
Supercape Posted February 15 Author Posted February 15 the Lock, such as it is, is DC 20 to open. John could take 10 and have it open in under a minute, given he is pretty skilled at lockpicking.
Thunder King Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) 22 to open the lock That won't take long\ 24 to sneak into the trailer Edited February 20 by Thunder King
Supercape Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 (edited) I think we will GM Fiat the Ringmistress waking up for the sake of ACTION! (Even though John is super stealthy) Tattered Man - Unharmed - 3 HP Edited February 20 by Supercape
