TOU save for Spaceman: 29

 

To keep things moving, I'll take Spaceman's action.

Since Taurus is down to -12 TOU, Parker is going to punch her: 18

DC23 TOU save if it hits, otherwise I will reroll.

 

I will try to establish grapple if that hits: 52

 

And applying Chokehold for a DC10 Suffocation Effect.

 

I might do something more depending on how Taurus rolls.

That's a hit.

 

Toughness Save: 1d20+1: 6

 

That is a fail by 17, which finally knocks out Sentry Taurus.

 

As noted in chat, Puma does not actually get hit by Orion, so it's her turn. The bolt does have one more chance to hit her though, on Orion's turn

I'm gonna surge and spend a HP to negate the fatigue, then Parker is gonna attack Draco with a Paralyze: 13

As confirmed on discord, that'll miss even flat-footed, but oh well!

Correct that it's a miss. To avoid clogging with GM posts I'll descibe the knockout alongside Scorpio's turn, or together if she also gets KO'd on her turn. We'll move to Puma's turn.

Ok, so La Puma Negra is going to try and slash at both again with a Split 4/4. If not in range, she will move enough to get in with Orion to hit her only. The roll should be good on a 23.

The split makes sense for me since they're not that far away. That makes it DC 19 toughness saves

 

Scorpio Toughness Save: 1d20+4: 21 saves

 

Orion Toughness Save: 1d20+5: 18 failure by 1

 

A failure by 3; another Bruise. That brings up Scorpion's turn. Her lash isn't ranged but it does have extended reach of 15 feet, so while she can't move, she can swing at Carmen.

 

Attack Roll: 1d20+11: 17

 

That is a miss. It's Rot's turn now

Rot will take a full turn Action to use her Scour power, using extra effort to boost it up to rank 10, and a hero point to recover. That will give her 50 contiguous 5 foot cubes to play with to try to get all three villains in the area of effect. I'm picturing a swirling, snaking river of darkness spiraling around the room avoiding allies and targeting enemies. This power leaves her flat footed.

 

So, everyone affected would have a DC 20 Reflex save for half effect, then a rank 10 Toughness Drain and a rank 10 Damage effect.

Alllrighty.

 

Scorpio Reflex: 1d20+10: 30 with Evasion, she avoids the damage entirely.

 

Orion Reflex to Avoid: 1d20+7: 17 she takes the full effect

 

Draco Reflex to Avoid: 1d20+5: 17 she takes the full effect

 

Orion Fortitude: 1d20+4: 12 so she loses 8 Toughness

 

Orion Toughness: 1d20: 5 She's Unconscious. This removes the bolt from Puma.

 

Draco Fortitude: 1d20+13: 22 She doesn't lose Toughness

 

Draco Toughness: 1d20+13: 17 She is Bruised and Dazed, again.

With that we're leaving combat time.

 

Everyone gets a HP, but not for this thread; after Biology finishes, everyone here will start the final Starblight thread with 1 extra HP due to the fiat.

 

This thread can continue for a bit as needed.

So what Consuelo knows;

 

The Starblights are a gang of students from Knight High School who primarily work on the Southside, but no one is sure exactly where. They're based around the friend group made by Kitty Nakamura. They were outcasts even before they got their powers. With the addition of their new suits, they've basically turned into a gang. They original five aren't really 'bad' girls; they've just had a rough life and respond to any aggression or threat with violence out of self-protection. The new one is unfamiliar.
