No, any area effect requiring a saving throw needs the Selective Extra (so Damage and other save powers, such as Snare, Paralyze, Stun, etc, have to have the Extra when an area effect).


Anything that does not have a save uses the feat. So, Healing with an Area Effect only needs the Feat to allow you to choose who in the area you heal.

Alright, you get 6 ninjas on the ground with that

 

Rolling vs. DC25 TOU: All well below, they go down

 

That means that there's no more ninjas on the ground at the moment, and @Thevshi is up with the dupe!

Yes, I had thought she was backstage too - I had made a point that she was letting the bad guys come to her. It sounded like she'd been moved up to the rafters at some point and I just ran with it, I didn't want to make RL go back and edit.

Okay, then, the duplicate will stay with Summer and the other members of the band, moving them toward safety and readying a melee attack if any ninjas show up. 

 

Probably not worth its own separate IC post, so will wait to include it with my other IC post for Multi-Girl.

On to the ninjas, then! 

 

Unable to see due to the illusion, the 4 ninjas in the rafters drop down to the floor, where two go for Paper with ranged attacks, and the other two rush back for the band, both attacking the dupe with ranged attacks.

Attacks vs. Paper: 22, 17

Attack vs. Dupe: 9, 18

That's 1 hit for each! @Spacefurry give me a DC21 TOU save, and @Thevshi give me a DC21 TOU save for the dupe, and then @Thevshi is up!

The duplicate only gets an 18, so picks up a bruise.


Bernadette will move back to attack one of the ninja backstage. Would she be able to Take 10 to hit (which would result in an 18), if so, DC 27 toughness save.

Yes, she can take 10.

The ninja can't make that save, so one more ninja down.

Yes, you were up @Avenger Assembled, and sorry about delays this month.

 

Stormcrow is gonna use Aid to Neko to give her higher Defense against the Elite Ninja, since you don't need a bonus to your attack roll: 20, that's +5 Defense for Neko on the next attack.

 

I assume that you will hit once the Elite Ninja approaches, so he's hit by the readied action, for a DC25 Will Save vs. Damage: 19, Bruised and Dazed, which means @Spacefurry is up while the ninja clears the daze.

 

As noted below, there are no ninjas visible on the ground, but 4 in the rafters and the Elite Ninja in melee with Neko.

With the reroll and everything else, I'll rule that you manage to intimidate him, which means that @Thevshi is up with the Multi-Girl dupe

The band should all be to safety now.

 

The last two ninjas escape, while the intimidated one stops moving for the moment, unsure what to do.

It is, however, enough, since I rolled badly and got 15

And not doing much better on the Will Save vs. the Mental Blast with an 18, failure by 5, which is a bruise and dazed... 

 

Charlie does a an Acrobatic Bluff to Feint, 30 with Skill Mastery.

Elite Ninja resists with Acrobatics: 18

Then I use extra effort to get an extra action with Charlie, which means I can use a Full Action to use a Snare: 32. I did not need that feint, but oh well.

Reflex Save vs. the Snare: 20, which is just enough to pass

 

The Elite Ninja, who is pretty much alone now, clears the daze, and then @Thevshi is up next

Yes, my bad. 

 

The ninja is snared and I'll rate them as being helpless, and I'm not sure why you're rolling a power check @Spacefurry, you just need to hit.

 

So now @Thevshi is up!
