RocketLord Posted August 29 Author Posted August 29 @Nerdzul that's very much a hit, and the power lets you circumvent the 50% miss chance! But yeah, the Drain Toughness and Grapple won't work, since it's just the claws that got Affects Insubstantial. TOU Save vs. DC32: 24, fail by 8, so a Bruise and Dazed! Give me an IC @Nerdzul, then The Born Loser is up. All villains currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 3HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), Dazed, (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed, Entangled (Atk/Def -2, Dex -4), Snare (TOU+10, 1 Injury) 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Unharmed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - Unharmed
RocketLord Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 The Born Loser is caught in the smoke, and unable to see, but he attempts to hit Purple Haze, since he guesses where he was, which he absolutely fails at by rolling 11 total. @Kaede Kimura is up All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 3HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), Dazed, (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed, Entangled (Atk/Def -2, Dex -4), Snare (TOU+10, 1 Injury) 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Unharmed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - Unharmed
Spacefurry Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) Sorry for the delay. Ref save : 32 Nat 20 with Evasion 2 Edited September 3 by Spacefurry
Kaede Kimura Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Muirne is gonna spend a HP to clear her fatigue, which means she's down to her last one. Ouch. Guided by her Super-senses 8 (Life Awareness; Descriptor Frequency: Very Common; Sense Type: Mental, Default: None; Extras: Accurate, Acute, Ranged; Feats: Uncanny Dodge [Life Awareness]) [8PP] she is gonna attack Buddy, again using Elongation to do so from a nearby roof and hiding afterwards (Skill Mastery for 28) Shadow Channelling is set to Base Power: [10PP] Additional Descriptor(s): (None) Phased Strike 10 Adds (Extras: Penetrating 10) to Shadowed Weapons [10PP] 1d20+10 = 26, which hopefully hits for a DC25 Toughness save
RocketLord Posted September 10 Author Posted September 10 Still 2HP left @Kaede Kimura! That's a hit, and Buddy rolls TOU save: 18, which means a Bruise and Daze! Give me an IC @Kaede Kimura, then @Thevshi is next! All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), Dazed, (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed, Entangled (Atk/Def -2, Dex -4), Snare (TOU+10, 1 Injury) 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Bruise (x1), Dazed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - Unharmed
Thevshi Posted September 13 Posted September 13 @RocketLord Is Bernie's duplicate still near Born Loser (who she tried to attack at the start of last round)?
RocketLord Posted September 13 Author Posted September 13 @Thevshi The Born Loser moved, but he was shouting while he did so, so it's reasonable for her to keep up with him, even in the Obscure, if you want to.
Thevshi Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Okay, the dup will try to stay with him and attack him (with penalty/miss chance there is): 24 on the attack roll (DC 27 if it manages to hit)
RocketLord Posted September 14 Author Posted September 14 I'll let you do that hit, and then it'll be a miss on 11+ on this roll: 5 That's a hit! Tou save: 12 Well, that roll could've gone better! Failure by 15 exactly means that he is KO'ed, so give me an IC @Thevshi, then I'll follow up with Charlie and some bad guys. All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), Dazed, (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed, Entangled (Atk/Def -2, Dex -4), Snare (TOU+10, 1 Injury) 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Bruise (x1), Dazed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - KO
RocketLord Posted October 8 Author Posted October 8 Stormcrow is going to attack Scarlet Mist with a Dazzle: 19, that's a miss. Purple Haze clears his Daze. Cueball is giong to attack the Snare: 27, which hits for a Crit, meaning a DC31 TOU save for the Snare. I'll roll the Snare's TOU to avoid waiting: 20. Lethal damage by 11 means the Snare is diabled and Cueball is free. Then @Lone_Star is up next! All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Bruise (x1), Dazed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - KO
Lone_Star Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Ghule is going to use her Gravestone Uppercut (should be similar to the current version on her sheet) and gets a 27.
Spacefurry Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Since Paper is next, I was hoping to use an HP to add Feats: Affects Insubstantial 2 to his Snare.
RocketLord Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 That's a hit @Lone_Star, but unfortunately, you do not seem to have any ability that you let you actually hurt Purple Daze with the Gravestone Uppercut while he's Insubstantial, so it won't have any effect. @Spacefurry the rules does not say anything about the rank of the feat you can add, but I'll allow it for the sake of getting things moving again. Give me a roll and IC. All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Bruise (x1), Dazed 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - KO
Spacefurry Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I wasn't using al the PP available for Snare so I figured it couldn't hurt to try to double down on the Affects Insubstantial. Ranged Attack: 24 I think that hits. Ref save DC22
RocketLord Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 Alright, noticed the IC, so that's hit! Ref save: 28 She strikes back at Paper, so @Spacefurry give me a DC 21 Reflex Save vs. Area, followed by a DC26 or DC20 TOU save! Buddy recovers from his Daze. Angel heards for Purple Haze, but still can't see him and grab him with the Visual Obscure. Which means @Nerdzul is next! All villains except for Scarlet Mist are currently covered in Visual Obscure focused on Purple Haze: Total concealment (Can't attack directly, 50% miss chance on attacking target) 29 - Shadowborne - 2HP - Unharmed 26 - Multi-Girl - 3HP - Unharmed 25 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 25 - Stormcrow - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Purple Haze - Bruise (x1), (taunted until Paper's turn: -2 Attack Rolls and Checks) 19 - Cueball - Unharmed 19 - Ghule - 2HP - Unharmed 17 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 15 - Scarlet Mist - Unharmed, Fatigued (-2 Str/Dex, -1 ATK/Def, Cannot move all out) 12 - Buddy - Bruise (x1) 10 - Angel - Unharmed 8 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - The Born Loser - KO
Spacefurry Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Ref save: 21 w/ Evasion 2 Skin of his teeth, or should I say a paper thin margin?
Nerdzul Posted Wednesday at 11:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:14 PM If Nightscale can find a group of villain clumped enough that he can hit with his breath of fire and turn them into gold with this: Goldfire - Transform 10 (Anything into one result [Anything into Gold]. Extra: General Area [Type: General; Shape: Cone; Size: 180 ft with area 1] Feats: Progression 1 [Area], Flaws: Distracting, Range[Touch] Drawbacks: Full Power) - Save DC 20 Reflexes to half DC 20/15 Fort not to be transformed into gold Even if maybe he need to fly on top of the group so that he can aim his cone down, he will do that. If friends and foes are too mixed up to do that he will just attempt to claw Purple Haze again, if he can he will use the move action to startle as well (I am not sure if you can startle a cloud of gas though hehe). The intimidate roll isn't that great though with a: 4+17 = 21 He will also all out attack to get +2 to hit and -2 to defense until his next turn as his chance to hit isn't great. To hit is: 30! Wow. which means that the +2 wasn't needed, but well. Damage DC is DC 27 or 32 if a crit can affect a mist.
