Addendum: Question answered in Discord. Going to pursue Hammerhead first, no time to force him to surface to parlay and after that conversation I heard, it's time to engage. So keeping within the first range increment I'm going to match his speed and start firing torpedoes... ahem... her phosphorescent spheres. Fire 1... A 24. Poncho Posted September 11 Author Posted September 11 Alright, lot of PCs and NPCs going up; Michael, then 4 sharks! He's going to lash out at Orca, the guy who shot him with the bazooka. Attack Roll Results 1d20+7: 20 [1d20=13] he hits! Toughness Results 1d20+7: 19 [1d20=12] That's a failure by 5, so the guy suffers knockback! But his Knockback is -8, so he doesn't go anywhere and is just dazed and Bruised. That means only Bull Shark, Whale Shark, and Tiger Shark get moves here. Bullshark is going after Michael with a Bite, which has Penetration Whale Shark sees that TL is in the water now due to the green light and he's going to swing around to chomp at her! With Favored Environment (Underwater), he's getting +2 to his Attack on this. Tigershark is going to run into the control cabin and start the Yacht! It won't get to full speed immediately, of course, but it is ramping up slowly; we'll say it's at Speed 1 right now. It's heading for the bridge right now. Let's roll for these two: Attack Rolls: Michael then Mizuki Results 1d20+7: 14 [1d20=7] 1d20+9: 24 [1d20=15] So probably a hit on Mizuki, but misses Michael. so @The Sailor that's a DC 24 Toughness on Mizuki. Also taking care of this guppy here momentarily once I get some rolls done. I'm also wagering if Whale Shark just hit me with the sauce he's pretty much within a 5-foot step so I'm just going to close in and give him a piece of my mind. Then she's gonna try hitting Tiger again, Power Attack +4/-4 and All-Out-Attack +2/-2 for a total of -2 Defense, -2 Attack, +4 Damage so 1d20+8-2 = 7. I'm gonna reroll that. 1d20+8-2 = 17. The worst possible rolls :')

That's a Stagger and a Daze! your Damage was +12, their knockback is -8, so it knocks them back 10 feet, so if you want you can toss him overboard or just knock him prone on the boat, your choice! I'll do NPC actions in a little bit!

Kaede Kimura Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Right, normally that'd just be a hit against her defense of 19, but the All-Out-Attack brought Vueriz down to 17 so it's a hit by 2 for DC19. 1d20+7-1 = 17 nets her another bruise.

And now the suit has a nice tear in it's arm sleeve and I got a cut... Whatevs. I wager he had to close in melee range for that, but considering I'm still in punching range of that Whale Shark fella, I'm gonna finish my dinner real quick. First roll was an 18, gonna HP that for a re-roll. For a 24 (Rolled a 4 which makes it a 14 off the HP re-roll)! That is a DC 23 Toughness check for Whale Shark if it hits (don't forget the autofire 1). Edited October 10 by The Sailor

Vueriz is in the center so her own Reflex 1d20+8 = 19 she passes and her Evasion 1 (it's hidden in her skyboard, when I finally update her I'll make sure it is easier to find) means she passes automatically. Since Michael is currently blinded by tail he should be immune or at least protected?

Not hitting with a 16 this time I'm thinking, I might throw him off his game by making him chase me... Next is the blinded Bull Shark, the Staggered and Blinded Orca, and the Staggered and Blinded Tigershark. Each is down to just pistols now, all at Veuriz, but they are also all blinded! Pistol Shots Results 3#1d20+9: 3 # 24 [1d20=15] 16 [1d20=7] 29 [1d20=20] so technically, Bull and Tiger hit, but since they're blinded they need to roll miss chance; need to get an 11+ on these rolls. Miss Chance Results 2#1d20: 2 # 13 [1d20=13] 13 [1d20=13] Oh. Well. They both saw it. and that means that Tiger got a crit.
