Thevshi Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Okay, posted Velocity's action. She used power attack to drop 2 from her attack roll, making her damage +13 (if we are putting this fight pre-PL increase, then it would be +12 damage).

cosmicarus Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Ok, wrote up my turn as well. Move action: permeate through the floor and back up again Standard action: strike against Heavy. I was going to try something tricky, but I'm at work and I wanted to consult my books first. In any case, this is Rose's first ever attack - a standard one would make more sense. I've assumed the gravity attack didn't go through the floor with me, but I'm happy to discuss this point. Also, what say you about coming back up through the floor and striking the target? If I missed I was going to put it down to not having X-Ray vision - so I'm happy to make a wisom roll (or something similar) if needed.

Veiled Malice Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Okay, Nanowrie nailed Valkyrie and drove her back five feet, as posted. The damage is DC 27 toughness, and the knockback came from her Impervious toughness plus half of what's left over, or 10, rounded down.

Heridfel Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 I'd check with Barnum. I'm not sure whether exiting the area that the Gravity Control affects and re-entering it frees you from the effect. I'm hitting a diameter of 100 feet, which I believe covers all of us at the beginning of the attack. Also, catching Heavy - not sure what roll that would be. I failed the first save by less than 5, so I take a bruise. I succeed on the second save. I'm assuming that we are going post-PL bump, even though it's worse for my side. And whether you're affected by the Gravity Control or not, a natural 1 always misses. I hate natural 1.

Veiled Malice Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I'm confused as to the advise Heavy offered that Nanowire didn't take - was that the "we have to get out of here as fast as possible" advise, or something else? Either way, I figured we should let the heroes get their licks in, otherwise they might have well not even shown up. :)

cosmicarus Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Ok, well, I'll be spending a HP to reroll this travesty... And it seems like the world wants me to be hurt - 17

Heridfel Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 Quick reminder - if you use a hero point to reroll something, you add 10 if your die comes up as 10 or lower. Your 17 is actually a 27, just enough to avoid even a bruise. (You bum. )
