Heridfel Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 So there, Heavy just used Extra Effort to get the following Alternate Power on his Flight: Spatial Control 5 (Flaw: Long Range Only, PF: Progression 2, Subtle) He's fatigued from the effort, and he'll stay that way for now. I can spend the Hero Point any time to un-fatigue if I need to. All that the Subtle means is that he's not registering on any seismographs or the like as he bends space - it's still pretty obvious that someone just appeared out of nowhere. Finally, note that he keeps that Alternate Power until he decides to use his Flight again. That could matter towards the end.

Veiled Malice Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Nanowire is taking 10 for most of the operations here. That'll give him an effective 23 for now. Actually, I just realized he needs to shut off the alarms first. Okay, he'll do that with a 32. Whew! Okay, the alrams are down, and that's a success by more than 5, so that should give me some leeway in future rolls.

Veiled Malice Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 So... um, is everybody waiting for me? Because the alarms are down, so we can get on with it now.

Heridfel Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 That's what I had been waiting for - and I don't know when the heroes will come across us. I'd prefer after we get the book, but I'm ready either way.

Veiled Malice Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I half-expected to tank the first roll, and thereby causing this shindig to kick off while we were still inside the Mesuem. Anyway, what would I have to roll against to do as Heavy suggested? I figure that at Nanowire's level of computer expertise, he'd at least have some idea of how difficult it would be.
