Veiled Malice Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I half-expected to tank the first roll, and thereby causing this shindig to kick off while we were still inside the Mesuem. Anyway, what would I have to roll against to do as Heavy suggested? I figure that at Nanowire's level of computer expertise, he'd at least have some idea of how difficult it would be.
Thevshi Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 All good Tevshi, hope it's ok that I took the liberty of meeting you outside. Actiually, I had considered not replying to it, as it pushed me along faster than I might have liked.

I didn't mean to cut your lunch. I'm am very happy to go back so we can take the whole thing at a better pace - it will make for a better campaign.

Thevshi Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I would have just prefered waiting to meet when Megan was in costume, for meeting like this doesn't really do much for things. Plus we have to wait not for the bad guys to get moving, or Megan will be getting in a cab and leaving soon.

Veiled Malice Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Soo... any answer on my question yet? I'm thinking the Mesuem is medium security, which would be a DC 20 computer roll to work the cameras - easily achevable. However, I would need to tack on a +10 in order to do it without anybody being the wiser. That's a DC 30, a roll I'd need to be crazy to attempt, as I'd only have a 3 in 20 chance of making it, and lighting very rarly strikes twice. Any thoughts? Am I right, or am I missing something?

Barnum Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 That sounds about right to me. If you spend a hero point you can increase that to 3 in 10. This is where Aid Another comes in so handy.

Veiled Malice Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Nice hat. Okay, I'll try that and get back here tonight.

Heridfel Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Hey Veiled Malice, Spoke with Barnum, and she's cool with us getting a Hero Point if we manage to set off a silent alarm during the course of this. It gives the heroes something to answer, and it gives us a Hero Point (obviously useful, especially since I'm currently fatigued). What do you say?

Barnum Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Sounds like a fine plan to me . . . if everyone agrees.
