Veiled Malice Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Man, if only I knew that book was in Chinese. That's the one other language Nanowire speaks. Too bad.
Veiled Malice Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I think I'm going to throw in one more IC post in here, then we're pretty much done, I think. If somebody else has a direction we can go from here, don't hesitate to speak up.

Veiled Malice Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Using my last hero point for a power stunt - ESP 5 (Sight + Hearing, 5 mile range; Flaw: Medium (video cameras) 2 pp/rank) 10 pp. Oh, and yeah, both Velocity and Valkyrie have a stalker now.

Thevshi Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 You don't actually have to use a hero point for it, just extra effort, you have plenty of time to recover from the fatigue :)

Veiled Malice Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Are we carrying HPs over from scenarios? If so, then I'll use extra effort. If not, it doesn't really matter.

Heridfel Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 Herid Fel puts on his Referee hat. The answer to your question is "Sometimes." When you start out a thread, you get one hero point, plus one hero point for each rank of Luck you have (generally speaking; there are some exceptions). You don't carry these hero points over. There are also hero points gained through complications. These ones, if unspent at the end of the thread, go onto your character sheet for use in later threads, up to a number based on your PL. This allows someone who keeps getting affected by complications to eventually pull off some miraculous stuff. This is well-represented in comics (Peter Parker has been said to be an HP-generating machine from all the complications he faces). If you, a player, have received hero points through this method and have any unspent at the end of a thread, note it in the OOC thread, so that the refs know to add it to your sheet. Check part 8 of this post for the full details.

Veiled Malice Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I got one HP off of a GM complication earlier in this thread. Does that count?

Heridfel Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 That it does. I will update your sheet accordingly. I'm going to call them "floating Hero Points", and put them under your PL/PP on your character sheets. I'll emphasize pointing it out to me at the end of a thread. I generally assume that folks use up their Hero Points when they get them.
