GHOST

Coming out from the top of the building, Ghost throws himself out over it and lets himself fall down towards Number 1 again. He vaguely notices that Number 1 is alone now, but not much to do about it. He put too much distance in between himself and the guy. So that means he'll have to settle for 3 out of 4.

Throwing himself to the side, he goes into a spin as another of the micro missiles explode next to him. Too close, but not close enough.

"Sure, buddy! You want me, you got me!"

Coming down to Number 1, Ghost grabs around his neck for a brief second, before he ghosts. Enough to create a bit of movement, jerk the man back from the force of the fall, and then to feel the shock with Ghost coming through his body and armor once again.

Stopping himself, he turns around, quickly starting to fly around Number 1, staying close, but mobile. "How about we skip to the part where you tell me who sent you?"

Under total assault from the Ghost, Number 1 continued to stay standing; the only thing he had going for was his capacity to take hits, he was almost entirely a punching bag now, and the gruff voice responded once more at Ghost as he tumbled backwards. He never caught himself, and the armor only barely protected him as he crashed down into the pavement. He looked up at Ghost and, with his last moment of effort, he raised a defiant middle finger.

"Go to hell....Ghost." He said with as much force as he could muster before he slumped over unconscious. There was nothing left here that could give Ghost information it seemed, with the last guy having left. But was that really the case? Number 1 had just been having a call.

There was silence in The Fens, an aching quiet that the subdivision almost never had; the efforts of a Superhero fight had made anyone who had been willing to do crime in The Fens this night scatter like roaches, so it was just Ghost and the Power Corps; even the Eagles and Gators seem to have fled.

Then a little blue light started blinking on Number 1's helmet. Incoming Call?

GHOST

"Wow. How original. Never heard that one before, buddy," Ghost says, catching the man by the neck of the armor before he falls down, and instead lowering slowly to the ground. He's not a killer, and not about to become one.

Landing, Casper looks around. He should probably call A.E.G.I.S. cand get them to take care of these guys... and do something about the Gators and Eagles... but he can find them later. He gotta do something about the last one, the one that got away. At least he got their leader.

And then the helmet starts blinking. Casper smiles under his mask as he leans down and sees if he can figure out how to activate the helmet. If he has to put it on, he'll do that, otherwise, he'd prefer to just talk into it.

At any rate, he will take the call, then remain silent, waiting for whoever is on the other end of the line to talk.

"Hello." The voice doesn't wait long after being turned on. It has an absolute calmness to it; a sociopathic level of emotionless either born or carefully cultivated.

"Judging from the silence and my recordings of vital signs of the last few minutes, I believe I am talking to Ghost, correct? The Power Corps seems to have failed to apprehend you." there is a pause. "...Unfortunate. But not unexpected." The dispassionate nature continues, uncaring about the individuals hired to do this.

"I hope you are having a pleasent evening." Said the voice, that had absolutely no inflection that that was the truth. "I am called, colloquially, Doctor Shock. And I would consider myself something of a pioneer in the field of Metahuman studies. Would you be kind enough to come visit my laboratory and submit to some tests, particularly involving your teleportation and phasing abilities?"
