Lynn had been about to head toward an exit when Mattie had stopped, somewhat confused by what all had just occurred, so the blonde teen turned back to stay with her roommate. She gave one of her half-smiles at the other girl’s last question. "Yeah, things tend to be pretty hectic a lot of the time, you learn to get used to it."

Glancing after the others that had departed a moment, she shrugged. "Well, with the others heading out to other locations, we might as well start here. Though I am not sure Gookgak is still here." The sixteen-year-old stated, glancing a moment toward Iris and Carmen, the two older students seemingly having not taken much interest in what was developing.

But Lynn and Mattie had only just started toward the now empty throne when a new figure stepped forward toward the throne.

It was a small man, with a clean shaven head, dressed in bright robes of blended shades of yellow and orange and a pair of simple sandals.

"This is nothing but a symbol of an oppressive system designed to keep everyone toiling under the will of the Man! The cleansing fires will wipe it away and free everyone!" As he spoke, he raised his hands, which became wreathed in fire, as the throne burst into flames, causing panic from those nearby…

The chaos had seemed to die down for the most part, the others began to leave but Iris did not follow, she told them that she would be fine and wanted some peace and quiet. Now that most of the loud students were gone, key word "most", she might have that chance...only for some stranger to show up and set the Throne on fire!

"Damn it! I wanted one quiet moment!" Iris exclaimed in frustration before looking over at Mattie and Lynn. As an older student, she had to keep the younger ones safe, and so was ready for a fight!

Carmen had been typing up an email about an assignment that was soon to be due that week, asking a question about it the teacher. The werecat student had been sort of just following other and more younger students around as a sort of chaperone now, not really interested in doing all this medieval stuff. It could be said that she really just didn't get it, all this medieval stuff, seeing what appeared to be more fantasy than anything else, the oddity of it being a ren faire at that. Still, the food was good, and Carmen was a big eater, senses more interested in tasting a pretzel she had bought with spicey mustard on it than anything else.

Of course, that meant when a guy that engulfed the throne in flames came from out of nowhere to deliver some preachy line, she stuffed down the rest really quick before getting up and by Cerebral, "And here I thought watching someone get knocked off a horse was entertaining."

"Hey punk, what's the matter, hot off the handle?"

BOUNCE!

"Yeah, he probably ran away. I swear that lil' guy's got more energy than the rest of us put together!" Mattie exclaims with a little laugh, as she follows Lynn towards the throne. They might as well get started looking for the king somewhere.

"Oh, hey, you know that guy, Lynn?" she asks, when the man in the orange and yellows step forward. "I kinda like those colors. You think I could pull 'em off?"

And then he starts talking all fancy about things being bad and sets the throne on fire! "Hey, that's not nice!" Mattie shouts, after Iris and Carmen has started shouting at the man. "C'mon, put that out before anyone gets hurt, please? I'm sure we can find someone that'll want to talk to you about that thing you're shouting about!"

Lynn had looked over towards the robed man when Mattie pointed him out, but did not recognize him, or who he might be dressed as. But before she could reply to the other girl, the man apparently ignited the faux throne on fire as he stood in the center of the main room and people began running in fear.

For a moment the blonde teen tensed, preparing to zip away to change into her costume. But she hesitated, not wanting to leave Mattie there alone, especially as the other girl started trying to talk the man down. Carmen moved over as well, yelling at the man as well. So, Lynn decided to wait and see what happened, just standing beside her roommate and watching for any sign the man might attack.

The man turned towards the teenage girls a calm expression on his face. "Greetings sisters. I am not looking to harm anyone, but these trappings celebrating the oppression of the past must go." He lifted his right hand, still covered in fames out to the side (away from any of the Claremont teens or any of the other bystanders) and sent a jet of flame flying that struck a tapestry hanging from the faux stone wall, causing it to catch fire.

"I would be happy to discuss the true way of peace and love, as soon as I am done destroying this edifice."

BOUNCE!

"But you're gonna get people hurt like that!" Mattie says, putting her hands down by her sides, and sounding rather upset. "Nobody's gonna listen to you if you get people hurt!"

There's people around, aside from Lynn, Carmen and Iris, but the tapestry catching fire is gonna be bad, and they need to do something about that.

She leans closer to Lynn and whispers "Lynn, I think we gotta do the hero thing here, right?"

She waits for a moment to get some kind of affirmation from Lynn, before she sets into movement. The elaborate princess dress that Mattie is wearing changes, shrinking in closer to her body until she is in her purple and white uniform, while her hair changes slightly and becomes purple-ish, as does her eyes. Her face changes ever so slightly, making her look just different enough that she won't be recognized and then... and then the more startling transformation happens as Mattie's arms start to warm into a huge purple electric fan that she turns on the tapestry, hopefully blowing at it with enough force to put out the fire.
