Dracostern Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Cerebral Iris watched Mattie's attack go straight through the being that revealed itself to be...Lawrence. This did not surprise Iris as much as most thought, Lynn was his sibling from an alternate timeline after all. "Damn...forgot we are technically in a dream." She stated, it made sense that they couldn't really hit him...but her abilities might work. The nightmare's outline turned purple as Iris focused on him, grappling him with her telekinesis and then she lifted the specter of the past up into the air. "You've tormented her long enough!" She then threw him out of the open window before turning to the others. "We need to get out of here stat! He might come back!"
MoonSimply Posted January 11 Posted January 11 La Puma Negra "Hey, bozo, over here! Think you can't be touched huh?! ¡Tienes suerte de que no podamos tocarte!" Carmen threatened this strange dreamlike being that was before them and seemed to be unable to be touched at all. The werecat would grab anything that she could to toss at it, trying to distract it as it drew closer. An unknown entity until she soon realized.... it was Lawrence, there before them. It didn't really make sense to her why, likely some sort of thought due to the nature of the dream. This being a nightmare made it likely far worse. Who knew what sort of power this entity possessed as they were flung out a window. No hard feelings at all. "To what?" she seemed upset, "We don't even know where we are in this dream, if we even are in one?"
RocketLord Posted January 11 Posted January 11 BOUNCE! "Ye-ow!" Mattie yells, quickly pulling her hand away from the figure that quickly reveals itself to be Lawrence, Lynn's sort-of-brother, before Iris uses her powers to throw it out of the window. She pauses for a brief moment, half a second maybe, looking at her hand, before turning to the others. "Don't touch whatever that nightmare thing pretending to be Lynn's brother. It stings, and I'm pretty sure I just got lucky." So, what else can she do? She's got plenty of options here, but it's all just a dream and Carmen got a point, they don't know where they are, and how to d they even get out of a dream in the first place and... Victoria! The girl! She said something about not wanting to do this! Bouncing over to her, Mattie reaches out and gently touches her shoulder. "Hey, you said somethin' about the White Rabbit makin' you do this or somethin', right? So... what's goin' on? What's he makin' you do? Do ya know how to get outta this place?"
Thevshi Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Slipstream Victoria looked up at Mattie as the older teen approached, tears running down her cheeks. "He…he made me use my powers to connect us to Lynn's nightmare." The younger teen said. "Somehow…the rest of you were pulled in as well. I…I cannot stop him…if we could find him….maybe you could stop him?" Lynn tensed slightly as Iris grabbed Lawrence with her telekinesis and threw him toward the windows. Mid throw, the blond young man screamed in pain and came the human shaped tear in time and space once more. The figure passed through the window, ripping it apart as he passed, the shards sucked into the void that was inside the figure. But then the figure vanished, to reappear in front of them again. "Join…." It stated in its cold, distorted voice. "Us…." Came a similar voice to the right of the teens, as another human shaped temporal distortion appeared in that direction. "In…" Stated a third entity, this one appearing behind the girls. "Oblivion…" Concluded a fourth, appearing to the left side, fully surrounding the Claremont teens and Victoria. At that moment, there was a series of loud crashing sounds above the teens and then the ceiling above them was torn away and drawn up into the temporal distortion that filled the sky above. The walls toward the hallway where Carmen, Mattie and Iris had first appeared were ripped away as well. A faint sob came from Lynn, but she moved over next to Mattie and reached out to grab one of the other girl's wrists. "Grab all the others." The blonde teen said, waiting until her roommate had done so. Then Lynn raised her free hand, which was surrounded by a temporal distortion similar to what Carmen and Iris were familiar with when Lawrence used his powers. The distortion quickly spread over Lynn before moving to Mattie and then all the others, and in an instant, they were gone from the ruins of the skyscraper and the threats surrounding them. A kaleidoscope of color seemed to explode everywhere at breakneck speed. This was nothing like when Carmen or Iris had previously experienced when Lawrence used his powers. The swirl of color seemed to be everything, and nothing, all at once. A barrier that breaks the walls between worlds. It felt like they were falling into the grand nothing, but also falling into the grand everything. And then the five teens landed, hard, crashing onto a floating platform in the middle of the rainbow space. Around them, pieces of the building that had been in floated, some within easy reach, others further away. Lynn had released Mattie's wrist when they had come crashing into…wherever they were. The blonde teen pushed herself up to her knees and buried her face in her hands as she cried. Victoria was also crying, curling up in a ball where she had landed.
Dracostern Posted Friday at 07:49 AM Posted Friday at 07:49 AM Cerebral Before Iris could even process anything that happened, a kaleidoscope of color exploded everywhere. She would close her eyes for but a moment until she felt the ground once more. The Psychic knew how falling felt, so she knew when to open her eyes. Once she did, Iris looked around and rubbed her forehead before getting up and dusting herself off. "I see...well if this is the White Rabbit's doing then we have a target...as much as I hate to say that." The young woman might not look it, but she was indeed very shaken by what she had seen. But she had to remain strong, Iris was used to doing this. She did it for Daniel, she did it for her Team, and she could do it for the rest of the girls here too. Iris turned and looked at everyone finally, noting Victoria curling up into a ball and Lynn crying. This was not good, if only Iris knew how to help them. She did not know much about Victoria, but Lynn...Iris' heart ached for the blonde, so she would move over and gently wrap her in a hug. "There there..."
