Players are allowed +3 / -3 maximum trade-off for attack and defense bonuses. Is there an overall cap on those bonuses? For example, I have PL 12 character and I would like increase his attack and defenses bonuses to +15. Is that too high? Link to comment

Only overall cap is what you can get per your PL. +15 would put him at "would be recognized as being one of the best-trained people in the world" level. Some comparisons from the FC campaign setting book: Johnny Rocket has a +16 Defense. Raven has +16 on both Attack and Defense. Orion the Hunter has a +16 on Defense. Wildcard has a +16 on Defense. Crimson Katana has +14 on melee Attack and +16 on Defense. Link to comment

It's probably worth noting that, were they updated, these guys would have Enhanced Defence so only get to be best in the world if you don't hit them with Nullify. :P Link to comment
