Dr Archeville Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 NOOOOOOOooooo! I'm also quite saddened to see ya go, Captain Wonder was (is!) an awesome character. But, schoolin' them youngsters is important, to! Hope to see you back on the breaks :)
Cyrith Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I'm back! Kinda. Now that I'm home from camp(it was awesome, so expect to lose me for the summer again next year), and have caught up with all my friends here in the real world, I'm finally ready to come back. Though i did just start back up the school year, so it may take me a while to jump back into posting. I'm hoping to write a "what I did on my summer vacation" post for my characters sometime soon. But this block promises to be more intense then last block. We'll see.
Dr Archeville Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Welcome back! So, do you want both Badb and High Note un-archived now?
Cyrith Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 For now I'd rather just go with High Note. I'm not in the mood to play the villain, plus I want her return to be something of a surprise. I'm taking the oppertunity to do some character revisions.
Dr Archeville Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Alrighty. Do you have a little one- or two-sentence description you'd like to use for the Active Characters list, or shall I make something up? ;)
Cyrith Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 High Note: A theater obsessed student at Claremont Academy with a love of the spot light, High Note is still trying to figure out just who he wants to be with his powers.
Warmonger Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Alright I think I am returning for the foreseeable future. Dust those mothe balls of Sen though hold up on Ronin for now.
Warmonger Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Hey doc could you take Ronin out of retirement as well? I want to make some revisions on the character.
Shadowboxer Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I apologize to the players and refs in my current games, I'm very behind on my posts. I will catch up in the next couple of days. School is keeping me busy. :(
Dr Archeville Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Quite understandable, School can be a harsh mistress. (Schoolgirls, on the other hand... )
Heridfel Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Don't worry about it too much, SB. I'm off on business travel, so I probably won't be posting IC until Friday evening at the earliest. I'll still check in to keep caught up on what's going on.
Dr Archeville Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I'm going to be away most of the weekend -- house- and dog-sitting for my mom (who's taking a short vacation to NY).
Shadowboxer Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Don't worry about it too much, SB. I'm off on business travel, so I probably won't be posting IC until Friday evening at the earliest. I'll still check in to keep caught up on what's going on. Awesome. I'll be posting on Friday, most likely. I'm going to be away most of the weekend -- house- and dog-sitting for my mom (who's taking a short vacation to NY). Have fun! See you when you get back.
Heridfel Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I got called in to do extra work this weekend, so I may not be posting to the IC threads tonight, tomorrow, or Sunday. I'll do what I can to keep up on things.
Heridfel Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 October just hasn't been my month so far. I seem to have caught a cold while traveling. I just felt well enough to make posts today, and I hope to get caught up on my threads tonight and tomorrow. Sorry for any delays.
Ecalsneerg Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Wednesday to Friday, I will be away on my trip to Glasgow. Immoral acts are possible. :D
Shadowboxer Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I apologize again for the huge delay. Apparently, October is the month from hell. I'll be posting on Friday.
Heridfel Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I apologize again for the huge delay. Apparently, October is the month from ----. I'll be posting on Friday. You and me both, buddy. I'll blame flu season, and sunspots.
Shadowboxer Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 You and me both, buddy. I'll blame flu season, and sunspots. Get better soon! I'll keep an eye out for sunspots, too. I'm back in swing for this week. There might be a delay for a day or two but I will try to post more frequently.
Dr Archeville Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Things are quite hectic on my end. Works in a bit of overdrive, and my house almost burned down. Twice.
Heridfel Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 And here I figured you were also drawn in by the lure of Fable II. I got it yesterday and probably already put in four hours on it. Between that and the Phillies... well, I promised I'd make posts here tonight, so I might not get any more hours in on it tonight.
Dr Archeville Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 To be drawn in by Fable II, I'd need an Xbox 360. Last game console I owned was a Sega Genesis (which I won in a contest I was unaware I had been entered into; my brother submitted an entry in my name). And for those of you who are curious: first "almost burned down" happened when a short in the heating & air conditioning system set the entire system into a continuous "defrost" mode, and we could not get it to shut off. Temp climbed about 2 degrees an hour. Eventually we realized we could switch it off by cutting the circuit breaker, though when we did the entire panel was very hot and buzzing loudly, and the wall around it was very warm; if we'd waited much longer, there could've been a nasty fire. Second "almost burned down" was more directly my fault. Minor grease fire in the kitchen as I was cooking some fries; oil spilled onto the burner and lit, and as I picked up the pan to move it away one of the cats decided to headbutt my shin, causing me to jostle the pan and spill hot oil all over the stove and under all the burners, spreading the fire. Fortunately, our house came with two fire extinguishers. Cleaning the mess they made was nasty, but the alternative would've been far nastier.
