quotemyname Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Funny thing about a full time job is that the longer you work it, the more responsibilities you tend to accumulate. I'll be back soon, I promise. But I do have another big weekend coming up, so I'll be patchy then too.
Ecalsneerg Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Funny thing about a full time job is that the longer you work it, the more responsibilities you tend to accumulate. Would it be in poor taste for me to laugh? :P
quotemyname Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Not at all. The leisure time at work was fun while it lasted. Now that things are a bit more serious I'll be paying my dues, quite rapidly. Do your worst! ;)
Avenger Assembled Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Cy, I don't know if you have time to lurk or not, but if so, best of luck on getting things in gear! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
KnightDisciple Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Going to be out of town from late afternoon today, until probably mid-day Monday. Might be later than that before I can really sit down and catch up. I've still got a while that I can post, but after that, I'll be without internet.
quotemyname Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Might as well put this down now. I have another crazy weekend coming up, guys. Tonight I head to NYC to visit the GF. Tomorrow I visit some college friends at a Ren Faire in NY state. Sunday, and Monday I will be moving into my new apartment/townhouse. If you don't see me for the bulk of the weekend, try not to worry too hard ;)
quotemyname Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 So the move is about 90% complete. All the heavy stuff is done. But there's a ton of stuff that's not set up / assembled / etc. Also, I fully expect to have a good amount of my belongings trickle in over the next few months when I suddenly remember, "Hey, I never brought that from home, did I?" Anyways, with any luck we'll have internet at home soon. For now, my posting will likely have to be done from work.
Supercape Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Having a few problems with 'tinternet at the moment, hopefully I will resolve them soon. Its intermittent but annoying. I will be posting but will be largely absent from chat for time being. As its intermittent, I can still usually check messages and be involved in threads, so keep em coming. You may, however, have to transiently shed tears of despair as you are deprived of my wonderful charm on chat for a day or two...
N/A Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 You may, however, have to transiently shed tears of despair as you are deprived of my wonderful charm on chat for a day or two... *sheds a single Manly Tear*
Geez3r Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Yep, I'm going for my MBA, and I pretty much have class all day Tuesday and Thursday, and then lots of homework in between so my posting rate's probably gonna go down.
quotemyname Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Good news and bad news: Good news: I finally have internet at home. Bad news: Work is keeping me pretty bogged down with some heavy coding projects. Also, a few of my friends are on break from college and so my social schedule shows no signs of letting up any time soon. So I have more access to the internet, but no more (or possibly even less) time to actually use it. I'll throw up posts here and there when I can. Just bear with me for a while, please. If you really have an important thread idea or post you want me to respond to, drop me a PM. I get alerts through email which I always check, and I'll do my best to answer you / post as soon as I can. I hope to be back in action soon. All the best 'til then. -Q
N/A Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Welcome to the Real World, Quote. How's it feel to be a grownup? :D
quotemyname Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 It smells like success! And freshly minted bills, and such! Just remember, I can always find ways to rub it, StB ;)
Avenger Assembled Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Mod Note: You two have been warned about cybering before. :P
quotemyname Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Rub it in* >_< Ugh. Freudian slip. :argh:
Supercape Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 *VWORP VWORP* ALERT!!! INTERNET DEATH!!! NORMAL SUPERCAPE SERVICE WILL BE RESUMED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SKELETON POSTING PROTOCOLS IN PLACE UNTIL RESOLUTION. *VWORP VWORP*
Heritage Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Sorry for the absence the last several days; due to various home life complications, my computer access has been drastically impacted and I cannot guarantee posts every day. However I will do my best to remain more active.
videocrazy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I've had a string of colds, plus school's been kicking me around a bit, made worse by the first bit. Also, I need some time to work on my social skills, so I'm going to stay off the site for a bit, until I feel I'm ready. Whether that be a few days, weeks, months, or even years, I don't know. And could someone archive Guardian while I'm gone, please?
Ecalsneerg Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 So... Kinda been drunk this week. May return on Friday. I hate my head right now.
quotemyname Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 like... the entire week? o_0 :GreatJob:
Dariusprime Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Sorry to keep you waiting! I've had a couple of emergency home projects (mold, fun!), but hopefully should be done (and not feel like warmed over death) by Thursday or Friday. Of course it happens after a couple of good threads get moving.
angrydurf Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 So as if it has not been excessively obvious AW and I are not around much/at all. Probably not gonna change anytime soon as the real world has seen fit to make life a bitch lately. Anyway fun playing with you all and hopefully things will calm in the future enough for us to manage to get back to things.
