Thunder King Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 My laptop has died...again, the same way it did before. I should be able to fix it, but gathering the resources and means could take days, or even weeks. My posting shouldn't stop, but it shouldn't speed up at all either.
horngeek Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Just so you guys know, I'm going to be away this weekend. Minimal internet access if any.
Supercape Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Bonfire night tomorrow and general real life business mean I will be spartan in my postage for the next few days...
Azuth65 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Bonfire night tomorrow and general real life business mean I will be spartan in my postage for the next few days... And all I can picture is V going, "Remember, Remember, the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."
Supercape Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 The combination of a few very busy days and a bad cold has lead yo a really rotten chest infection. I should probably be off work but am dragging myself in, to flop into bed for a sleepless slumber of coughing every day. IM knackered. Barely have the will to make a cup of tea, so sorry it will proba be the weekend before I have any atom of energy.
Ecalsneerg Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 IM knackered. Barely have the will to make a cup of tea That is tired!
Supercape Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Turned out to be a urinary tract infection (to which I am prone) dancing up to the kidneys. Antibiotics are great. However, as often happens with these infections it has wiped me. Perhaps having a cold at the same time pushed me over the edge (I normally fight off colds fast). But its turned into post - viral (and bacterial) fatigue. So forgive me if I am v low on energy for the next few weeks whilst I recover...!
Dr Archeville Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Home computer's still borked, and it's craaazy busy at work as we prepare to move into our new library.
N/A Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 OK, no more "sabbatical." No more logging into the chatroom, no more posting on the board. I'm done here, for real. I appreciate the sentiment from everyone who hoped that I would come back, but I'm not coming back, ever. "Wait, you haven't played in over a year now. Why bother making this post?" Good question. The answer is that this is my official announcement that any and all player character legacies that I was sitting on are now, as far as I'm concerned, officially up for grabs. Feel free to do whatever you want in-character with my PCs - retcon them, kill them, whatever you want or have to do to make room for the next person who wants to play The Scarab or the child of Thor or whatever. Any character ideas I ever talked about that you wanted to use, if any, feel free, now's your chance. Go nuts. DokA, Sorus, good luck.
Dr Archeville Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Motherboard of my comp's borked, and laptop's starting to act up. Working on getting a new comp.
Azuth65 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Motherboard of my comp's borked, and laptop's starting to act up. Working on getting a new comp. At least all the Black Friday deals are just a couple days away.
Azuth65 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 On the road most of today, expect delays in posting so Bree and I can surprise her parents at their friends place at dinner.
Dr Archeville Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Got my big X-Mas present early, a new computer! So I should be back on more regularly in the evenings. Y'all may even see me around on our Minecraft server!
Azuth65 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Got my big X-Mas present early, a new computer! So I should be back on more regularly in the evenings. Y'all may even see me around on our Minecraft server! And so once again, the day is saved. Thanks to..., Commercialism. :P
KnightDisciple Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I likely won't be around much/at all after about 10-11pmish tomorrow night, and I won't be around at all Saturday (probably not even for the evening), so I won't really be on much until Sunday (after earlier evening tomorrow).
Fox Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Flying up to Washington to visit some family from the 14th through the 17th; I'll have some presence, and I'll be trying to check threads and the like, but I probably won't be in chat and certainly won't be around much at all until I get back.
Supercape Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Very busy week so little posting. I am on call this weekend, so postage my vary!
KnightDisciple Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 So, it's that Season again. And you know what that means, besides Merry Christmas! ? I'm going to be out of town, starting tomorrow (Saturday) until Wednesday (5 days total). I don't anticipate much, if any, internet access in that time. So I'm basically "going dark" for most of the next week. So with that in mind, I'm going to use this chance to wish everyone on the board: MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Raveled Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Happy holidays, KD.
TheAbsurdist Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 So internet is out at my home. I think. I didn't get to test it today before heading off to work. Maybe it is just the router.
Raveled Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 My home Internet is down, so access and posting will be intermittent.
SpicyWaffle Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 My internet's working... sort of. For some reason it's coming and going in spurts. It doesn't help that my schedule got flipped around for work, so now I'm working the morning shift instead of the night shift. No posts from me today, but I super-promise I'll get back on my posts first thing tomorrow evening; rain, shine, or radioactive squirrels from the Seventh Dimension!
