Dr Archeville Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Inspired by the FC PbP: The Movie thread. Who would you want to voice your character in a DCAU-style animated series?
N/A Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 For The Scarab II, I'm thinking Brazilian actress Morena Baccarin of Firefly and Justice League Unlimited fame.
N/A Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 If Fabrica de Herois is working, we should make DCAU versions of all our characters. Then someone should Photoshop them together, throw up the Freedom City logo, and add the "cast list." Then the admins should put it on the front page of this web site. That would be sweeet.
Moira Morley Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I have tried Fabrica de Herois. It's too involved for me :(
Dr Archeville Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 For Belphegor: a younger Max von Sydow, for both forms. The reason should be obvious. For Dr. Archeville: Michael York. A recent ep of Star Wars: The Clone Wars explains why. Failing that, Christopher Lloyd (Emmett "Doc" Brown from Back to the Future, Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Rasputin from Anastasia). Or, Sylvester McCoy (the 7th incarnation of The Doctor). For BlÃ…Âzan: Christopher Walken, speaking entirely on German, with the same tone/pace he used as Gabriel in The Prophecy. (Either Tim Curry or W. Morgan Sheppard would voice Samhain, BlÃ…Âzan's British "cousin")
Ecalsneerg Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Christopher Daniel Barnes, the voice of Spidey from the 1994 cartoon, is probably a good choice for Geckoman. Arrowhawk, I dunno. Maybe Ewan MacGregor or Robert Carlyle. Maybe I'm aiming too high. :D
Avenger Assembled Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Jackie Earle Haley for Avenger. Stuart Townsend for Jack.
quotemyname Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Just saw an episode of The Brave and the bold. Whoever voices Booster Gold might fit The Captain - Just with more ass kicking and pimping himself out. (maybe...)
N/A Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Just saw an episode of The Brave and the bold. Whoever voices Booster Gold might fit The Captain - Just with more ass kicking and pimping himself out. (maybe...) Tom Everett Scott. IMDB Profile Wikipedia Entry Interestingly enough, he also voiced Booster Gold for Justice League Unlimited.
Geez3r Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I'd have Malice voiced by Ron Perlman, he voiced Fire Lord Sozin in Avatar, among like 1000 other roles. I just like some of his dead pan deliveries. And for being erratic, he also voiced Mr. Lancer from Danny Phantom.
N/A Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Ron Perlman isn't as famous for his voice acting as he is for his live action roles (which consist of pretty much any role involving 4+ hours of makeup). He played the eponymous heroes in HellBoy and Beauty & The Beast: The Series. He also co-starred in Alien 4: Resurrection and Blade 2.
