N/A
As per AA's suggestion in chat, Knowledge (Arcane Lore) and Sense Motive checks to know the vampire is incapacitated: 26 and 11, respectfully. Sorry about the double-rolls - never used that function of Invisible Castle before. I just used the first roll for each check. According to AA, the Arcane Lore result is high enough. Free Actions to maintain Flight and Force Field. By my count, The Scarab currently has 2 HP and 1 Bruise. Spend 1 HP to shake off her Fatigued condition. Free Action to switch up Array. Cease maintaining the Light Control. Switch to Telekinesis. Full Action to use Telekinesis to pick up the vampire's body and throw it through the gate into Hell. Attack Roll: 27. More than enough to hit a Helpless Medium-sized target. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Scarab just saved you all from Mental Blast 14. Buy Elena a drink, wouldja? :D Link to comment
Dr Archeville
And, yes, Avenger did say I could do that *points to Eldrich* :) Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
I blew up a vampire's chest :D :D Link to comment
Hellbound
Oh yeah? Well I smacked a demon lord in the face with a staff that's apparently made out of concentrated evil :D Which... okay, I'll admit it wasn't that smart of a thing to do. But it was still really cool. Link to comment
Moira Morley
I, um... punched stuff. Link to comment
N/A
I...glowed. That's about it. Kudos to Arrowhawk for actually taking the bastard down. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Hey, everyone helped. I caught his sword! (With my ribs!) Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
I...glowed. That's about it. Kudos to Arrowhawk for actually taking the bastard down. Ironic, considering (unless I read someone's background wrong), Scarab should be the only one with more experience than Arrowhawk. :D Link to comment
N/A
Ironic, considering (unless I read someone's background wrong), Scarab should be the only one with more experience than Arrowhawk. That sounds about right. DarkStar's been fighting battles IN SPACE!!! for a couple of decades, so he's probably got experience on par with Arrowhawk (just of a completely different nature). The rest of 'em are rookies, though. Link to comment
Cyroa
well his battles aren't really the same he's a rookie at the hero thing! Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
As a Pl 10, and not a weak one at that, he's not exactly a rookie. He's just a bit too idealistic, like the DCAU's Captain Marvel. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
I think you're all forgetting Belphegor's contribution. Without him, there'd be no Red King! :P Link to comment
N/A
The Scarab will use Extra Effort to power stunt an Alternate Power off of her array: Concealment 10 (All Senses, Feats: Close Range, Selective, Extras: Affects Others, Area, Flaws: Phantasm) 32PP I'll spend The Scarab's last Hero Point to remove the Fatigue. Cyroa
Hey, Bel can't hog all the credit there! DS helped! Oh wait.... Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
I've no idea if that frequency would actually work for sending and receiving messages, but hey. Comic book logic! I don't need your stinking bedsit anyway. <.< Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Anyone have anything further for this thread? I know Wesley and I will have one direct followup in Grenville. Link to comment
N/A
I think everyone but Arrowhawk and Avenger(?) is hitching a ride with DarkStar to The Lair. We can assume the guided tour takes place off-camera, though. As far as I'm concerned, we're done. Anyone else wanna weigh in before Avenger turns the lights out, pulls up the barstools, and locks up for the night? :D Link to comment
Dr Archeville
I'll have something for the closing post. ;) Link to comment
Hellbound
I'm good to go -- and I'm fine with the tour taking place off camera. If Avenger's not going to the lair, however, someone else will have to put the sword into a stone for our symbol. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Good point, Hellbound. I'd better come along for just that reason. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Aight, I think we've all had our say. Avenger _is_ coming on the tour! So, D-A, do your crazy thing, and we'll have our tour off-camera... Link to comment
