Hellbound Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 "Ah, glad to see you decided to join us, Avenger. I'm going to need some of your blood und urine. Dere's a bathroom you can use to your left." Dun-dun-dunnnnn..... :?
Cyroa Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I'll figure this out someday. either way, it came up empty ;)
Ecalsneerg Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Doc did not see what Geckolass did there. I'm actually semi-hoping someone passes their Sense Motive one day. Then I actually get my HP for the complication.
Dr Archeville Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I'm actually semi-hoping someone passes their Sense Motive one day. Then I actually get my HP for the complication. Well, once Doc gets a chance to study Gecko's gear, there's a chance he'll be able to figure out where it's really from. ;)
Ecalsneerg Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Take it from me if you can! For in my hands, "Look behind you!" is a potent weapon indeed!
Avenger Assembled Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Oh my! I trust that there's an HP for my Complication in the works? :)
Dr Archeville Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Oh my! I trust that there's an HP for my Complication in the works? Probably You've still yet to indicate whether or not Jill's giving any blood or not. (Or, for that matter, whether or nor Jill is capable of urinating. She can if Jack's type of vampire can eat normal food, otherwise that part of her 'plumbing' dried up years ago.)
Dr Archeville Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 To make matters even worse, he'd ended up having to make several attempts before coming up with the idea of a vacuum sealed, titanium allow syringe. With no oxygen available and made of a very heat-resistant material, the implement had finally taken from her what no other doctor had managed before. Several attempts? I'd think he would've figured out something during the first time he had Hellbound in his home (Speaking of, I'm still waiting for an answer from you in that OOC thread.)
Avenger Assembled Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Avenger cannot go to the bathroom. As he's recently fed, he might be able to donate the blood of his recent victim, which would lead to all kinds of Complications!
Dr Archeville Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 What Doc is (Currently) Testing For * To see if we've really been turned into women (from XY to XX), or if something else is going on (like we went from XY to XXY or X-). * If we do have new X chromosomes, if they're identical to our existing X chromosomes, if the Y was 'stretched' into a new X, or something else. * Any trace of residual radiation common to all samples which would be from the weapon, which could lead to figuring out how it was done.

Lucky I'm a biologist, ain't it? I'd say all that would be Life Science rolls.
Dr Archeville Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Taking 10, with his Enhanced Int & the resources of his HQ, that's a 34. :)
Ecalsneerg Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Damn you and your science. * To see if we've really been turned into women (from XY to XX), or if something else is going on (like we went from XY to XXY or X-). Looking in the nuclei of each of the blood cell samples, it's apparent that the y-chromosomes of each cell have been subtly altered so that each has grown to an x-chromosome containing the usual information this entails. However, the growth is visibly different to the original genetic material, and thus easily distinguished from the newly-formed x chromosomal material. * If we do have new X chromosomes, if they're identical to our existing X chromosomes, if the Y was 'stretched' into a new X, or something else. See above. * Any trace of residual radiation common to all samples which would be from the weapon, which could lead to figuring out how it was done. Low frequency radiation of some form just outside the electromagnetic spectrum appears to emit from the newly-formed material. This radiation seems to pass harmlessly through all tissue except for any cells still containing a y-chromosome, where it seems to be absorbed into the chromosome forcing it to grow the additional x-section. Curiously, in Geckolass's blood, her cells seem to attack the newly-formed material, only for the radiation to immediately trigger a regrowth. A quick scan would indicate this frequency to be emitted from some point to the south, but an exact location could not be gleaned. Any radiation passing outwith the samples seems to slowly dissipate. If anyone else's blood or urine would have distinctive radiation or some other complicating feature, feel free to make up some technobabble.
Dr Archeville Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I should've checked here before making my last post Editing. EDIT: Edited.
Hellbound Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Wisdom roll to see if Hellbound can contribute to the plan at hand.
Cyroa Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 hey....White Star is immune to radiation... Should I still be Dark Star? (I know; just kidding)
Ecalsneerg Posted May 11, 2009 Author Posted May 11, 2009 hey....White Star is immune to radiation... Should I still be Dark Star? (I know; just kidding) But do you have Immunity to Plot Radiation? :P
Dr Archeville Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Besides, that's just Environmental Radiation, not any effect with a Radiation descriptor. :P
Avenger Assembled Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Now, let's see if Dr. Archeville dares step into a private room with the woman of her dreams... :)
Dr Archeville Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Victoria's just as Attractive as Jill, y'know And that's an Obscure 2 (auditory, 10 ft. radius; Extra: Selective Attack) [5pp] effect he's thrown up ;)
Dr Archeville Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 The purpose of that Obscure was so that Gecko & Wes cannot hear what Avenger or Doc have been saying. Which is why I kept saying "you two hear nothing." Also, am I the only one who finds Wesley's yellow text impossible to read? Might I suggest a nice green color, the same color his eyes glow when using his life-sense?
Ecalsneerg Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 I'm going based on the fact Avenger is leaning in close and balling up her fists. Generally a sign of anger :P
Avenger Assembled Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 They can't see Avenger's mouth move or her facial expressions, which is problematic. But I would say Avenger's body language is such as to convey her unhappiness. Also, Sand, yeah, I'd avoid the yellow font. I thought Wesley was speaking in spoilers! :D
