Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Yeah, at least then we solved the female name for Dark Star. White Star! Now... what the hell do we call Wesley?
Cyroa Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I hate pink. I have a 3 year old girl and it's her favorite color. I refuse to acknowledge any other form of pink in my life! DOWN WITH PINK! (heh )
Sandman XI Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Now... what the hell do we call Wesley?Wesley. The perks of not having a female alternate name :D
Cyroa Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 when in doubt, call on the super genius to fix this! And Wesley is now called...Wesley. Its both a boy's and girl's name. drat! Though it could become Wesley Dame instead of Knight!
Hellbound Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 So while we're waiting for V'ger... er... She'ger to post, isn't anyone going to help the Hellbroad up? :P
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 One sex change, and you're already expecting to be waited on hand and foot? :P
Hellbound Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Hey, you try getting back onto your feet while wearing hooker boots, giant wings and an unexpectedly weighty rack!
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 A quick note: I didn't make up the LGBT bookshop thing. Go read the sub-forum description. See, if I'd picked any other subforum at random...
Sandman XI Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Are we supposed to use he/him or she/her for pronouns now?
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 I have no idea. I'm using her, but we're all going to get confused anyway. Time to use names more than pronouns, I think.
Avenger Assembled Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I just want to give Scarab a chance to post, and then I'll post too. Technically Avenger has already woken up and taken his action, after all.
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 I just want to give Scarab a chance to post, and then I'll post too. Technically Avenger has already woken up and taken his action, after all. Shaen never signed up for this thread, or has indicated to me he would like to :P
Hellbound Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 "How could you beat me to it? How?" Seize Initiative! God I love that feat :D
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Avenger, is there any distinct odour to a vampire that would make her stand out as anything other than human?
Avenger Assembled Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 What are you saying? (For the record, Avenger seems perfectly human if you don't have detect life/magic/undeath.) :D
Ecalsneerg Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 What are you saying? (For the record, Avenger seems perfectly human if you don't have detect life/magic/undeath.) So Acute Scent won't pick up anything?
Avenger Assembled Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 That's correct. Avenger smells like men's cologne, bad liquor, and blood. About what you'd expect a crazy, violent vigilante to smell like. ;)
Dr Archeville Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Acute Scent just means his scent is as distinctive to you as his visual appearance or the sound of his voice, and you can tell Avenger from Not-Avenger by scent alone. That said, Geckoman might could notice that Avenger's scent has more commonalities with corpses than normal living people's scents do.
Sandman XI Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 White Star brings up a valid point Would (pop culture) 16 let me know anything about Doc Otaku's digs?
Ecalsneerg Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 Nope. Popular culture is being up-to-date on popular culture, like music, film and in the FC-verse the superhero community. Supervillain lair locations are not popular culture. :P
Avenger Assembled Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Don't taunt the crazy vigilante, Geckolass. No damage on the unarmed attack there, though that's a DC 25 check on the Intimidate. Avenger's going to head out of the area using Stealth, then make some calls to his Contacts looking for Doc Otaku's hideaway. That'll give him a total of 16 on the Streetwise check (taking 10) and the same on his Gather Info check, which he can do easily enough given his Contacts feat. Hmm, better start buying up those skills if I want to be a good "crazy Batman."
Ecalsneerg Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 Don't taunt the crazy vigilante, Geckolass. Awww... but I'm good at it. Having just looked at Intimidate, I just realised you got a choice between Will/Sense Motive/Intimidate. My Intimidate is highest *facepalm* It also has no effect once you leave the vicinity ('may treat as friendly, but only while in your presence'), but I'll roll anyway Resist intimidate (1d20+4=14) Meh. I take comfort in the fact that your response to an insult was to tell her to 'Shut up!' and then run away to hide. I'll get you results for those checks once more people have had a chance to post, given the time gap that would inevitably occur.
