N/A Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 We're going all-narrative for now. I'll let you know when it's time to start making rolls.
N/A Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 Ecal, make me a quick Bluff check, opposed by Raven's Sense Motive. I want to determine how obvious it is that he's crushing on her. She gets a 27.
N/A Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 And Gecko-Boy gets 23. Raven knows that he's got wowzerz in his trousers.
N/A Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Give me an Investigate check and a Search check, unskilled if necessary, to determine what (if any) significant information Geckoman learns about the crime scene. Yes, I know Investigate doesn't normally allow for unskilled rolls. I'm taking liberties.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Investigate, Search (1d20+1=3, 1d20+1=8) I suck major ass.
N/A Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Investigate, Search (1d20+1=3, 1d20+1=8) I suck major ass. We know, Ecal. We know. Give me a Knowledge (Pop Culture) check.
N/A Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 Raven's Notice: 18. Raven's Initiative: 13. Not good enough. Congratz, Gecko-Boy. Now's your time to shine.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 That's me moving between the detective and the airplane. If that wouldn't stop it ordinarily, I'll spend a HP to interpose.
N/A Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 I'll take your Hero Point for temporary use of the "Interpose" feat. Then I'll give it right back to you for an act of impressive and genre-appropriate heroism completely lacking in self-preservation. Make a DC20 Fortitude Save.
N/A Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 Failed by 15 exactly. Gecko-Boy is Dying and effectively Unconscious. However, Raven has Jack of All Trades and a WIS modifier of +5, so she can Take 10 on a Medicine check for an effective score of DC15, just enough to Stabilize him. And with his Regeneration, he'll recover fairly quickly. EDIT: She can also Revive him. So he's no longer Dying or Unconscious, just Staggered and Disabled.
N/A Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Ecal, give me another "Knowledge (Popular Culture)" check.
N/A Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Poptacular (1d20+7=12) "And if they don't win, it's a shame" is a lyric from "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." You probably didn't know that, since it's about baseball, not *spit* cricket, you damned dirty Foreigner!
Ecalsneerg Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I'm Scottish, not English. It'd be like calling an Alaskan "one of those Californian surfer dudes"
N/A Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 You can do another IC post if you want to, or we can just skip to the next night, whichever you prefer.
Ecalsneerg Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Disabled recovery check [DC 10] (1d20+1=3) Dammit, let's just make a series of them and determine how fast it is by that... (1d20+1=7, 1d20+1=14, 1d20+1=7, 1d20+1=5, 1d20+1=9) ... Gaaaaah. So he takes three hours to stop being Disabled. RECOVER NOW (1d20+1=20, 1d20+1=20, 1d20+1=9, 1d20+1=4, 1d20+1=4) And 80 minutes to stop being Staggered. So... 4 hours, 20 minutes until he's good as new, and I avoid having to explain to his parents why he's so beat up!
N/A Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 (12:04:00) Ecalsneerg: Notice! (1d20+5=16) Good enough.
N/A Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 Make a Sense Motive or Bluff check to figure out if you think he's telling the truth or not.
