The tree comes up on the first weekend in December, usually. It did, of course, use to be a real tree, until dear ol' dad thought hauling out the saw and hacking down our own was too much work. Pay no attention to the fact that it was my '6"4 butt that lugged the hunk of dead wood back to the car yearly when his '5"9 frame could barely support it...

We used to do real trees, but not the last couple years.

We always do a real tree, but we don't go cut it ourselves. There's just nowhere around here to do that sort of thing. We buy ours precut.

One of the benefits of living in the Pacific Northwest - no shortage of evergreen trees. :)

We don't really do Christmas at my house, but I always go next door and help my neighbor decorate. It is usually the first few weeks of December.

You know if I could, I'd let you come live with me. :(

I am glad you've got a good neighbor. ;)
