quotemyname
You know what? I think I will do that. I'll go make an edit to the OOC post saying I will pass it with Extra Effort. Its not like the fatigue would have affected my results for the rest of the saves :P Link to comment
quotemyname
Okay, IC posting over with, ready for the next test. And just by the way, I HATE that damn screwdriver of yours :P Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Hrrmmm... anything in particular you wanted to test? Link to comment
quotemyname
Offense in combat? maybe adaptability? ability to use the new adrenaline cannon in unusual ways? certain targets that can only be hit by certain things? etc. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
STAGE THREE A test to see how (physically) offensive Knievel can be. Three attempts to hit each target. I'll make Toughness saves for the ones you hit. (I'm partly letting you determine what there Toughness saves are, since you'll be describing what's attacking you.) Part 1 -- Defense 16 Part 2 -- Defense 20 Part 3 -- Defense 24 Part 4 -- Defense 30 Link to comment
quotemyname
Four attack rolls. DC 16, 20, 24, 30 respectively. (1d20+14=30, 1d20+14=32, 1d20+14=23, 1d20+14=28) Extra Effort that last one to make it hit. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Remember, you get three chances for each target. Link to comment
quotemyname
Oh duh! It totally skipped my mind! I will make two more rolls to try and hit Defense 24: attack roll to hit DEF 24, (2nd and 3rd try) (1d20+14=24, 1d20+14=25) Got it! Gonna go edit those posts. Then feel free to do whatever. EDIT: Edits complete! Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Hrm, given the way you wrote your posts, it's kinda moot for me to roll Toughness saves for 'em. But I'm fine with that. *plots Stage Four* Link to comment
Dr Archeville
STAGE FOUR Very much like Stage Three, but you only use your fancy Cannon. Be creative Part 1 -- Defense 16 Part 2 -- Defense 20 Part 3 -- Defense 24 Part 4 -- Defense 30 Link to comment
quotemyname
Just gonna roll some dice Whilst I think of something to post. Three Tries DC 16 (1d20 14=32) 3 tries dc 20 (1d20 14=19, 1d20 14=20, 1d20 14=18) 3 tries dc 24 (1d20 14=34, 1d20 14=24, 1d20 14=34) wow ... two crits? 3 tries DC 30 (1d20 14=27, 1d20 14=34, 1d20 14=16)rolling like crazy today. I pass all four. I will have to come up with some cool descriptions for these spot on attacks ;) Link to comment
quotemyname
I had a good Idea, and I am going to have fun with this one ;) Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Heh, you sure did have fun. Any requests for the final test? (Note: no guarantees that the final test will be what you request. ) Link to comment
Dr Archeville
STAGE FIVE A test of Knievel's acrobatic abilities. As usual, you have three attempts for each DC. Part 1 -- DC 15 Part 2 -- DC 20 Part 3 -- DC 25 Part 4 -- DC 30 Link to comment
quotemyname
Skill mastery allows me to take 10 on the first two checks and I pass. Rolling the last two. I have 2 VP's remaining, as well as ultimate effort for this part of the test. balance check DC 25 (1d20 13=14, 1d20 13=24, 1d20 13=28) - pass Balance Check DC 30 (1d20 13=32, 1d20 13=28, 1d20 13=26) - pass Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Rolling the last two. I have 2 VP's remaining, as well as ultimate effort for this part of the test. Eh? Knievel has Ultimate Effort (Toughness Saves, Attacks [melee]), not Ultimate Effort (Acrobatics checks). And Ultimate [Whatever] is a Fortune feat, which is a type of feat neither Extra Effort nor Hero Point use can get you. (Not that it matter, with the rolls you got...) Link to comment
quotemyname
You know... I MEANT Extra Effort... But that is clearly not what came out. :P Link to comment
Dr Archeville
And that, as they say, is that. Link to comment
