N/A Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Also Ace and Scarab are currently in seperate clusters if the comment Duncan Made was directed at both of them We could be standing close enough together for the comment to hit us both. Like we were standing back-to-back, each participating in two different conversations.
Avenger Assembled Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 He's the Raven, Ace. He's just that good.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Bluff, bluff, bluff the surly barmaaaaaan! (1d20+16=23) Hero point time... Things can only get better (1d20+16=29) Aha! Deception and lies!
Avenger Assembled Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 You know what? Pompadour, you are the first character to successfully react to Avenger (Or pretend to react to Avenger) the way I've been presenting the PC. Have an HP.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 And Ecal? That's an HP for you, too. Cock-blocked.
Cyroa Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 uh..isn't Duncan the headmaster of the acedemy? So...did Gecko just approach that group and ask them (including the headmaster) to hold his beer? Just checking ;)
angrydurf Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Yea we just caught that and made a quick edit to fix it.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Gecko-pimp is failing at his task here. Avenger is a cruel DM. It's not fair. Also, Kenzie, not McKenzie. Odd name, but phonetically alliterative.
Ecalsneerg Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Edited! It better be. You have to make up for a lot now, sonny-jim.
angrydurf Posted June 20, 2009 Author Posted June 20, 2009 Feel free to have Jack ninja vanish while everyones distracted. Not that he needs the distraction. :)
Lord Fell Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Heri, Pompadour has gone to the bar... which makes it a little difficult to spill champagne on him from where you are.
Heritage Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Heri, Pompadour has gone to the bar... which makes it a little difficult to spill champagne on him from where you are. Crap on a stick! Okay, gonna due a quick edit before anyone else posts; Sac, I hope you don't mind taking one for the team :(
Avenger Assembled Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I still maintain that Grimalkin just wants to see Pompadour take his shirt off, so she deliberately walked over there and chucked her drink at him. :D
Lord Fell Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 We hashed it on in chat a bit... and figured Pompadour was on Grim's left, with people between them. Also, Grim's right handed so it would make more sense for the champagne to be going right... Although, my theoretical response was: 10:04:58) Lord_Fell: Well, Ace was still there, but he's wandered off himself now, already reacting to the spill. (10:08:19) Heritage: doh! (10:08:26) Lord_Fell: I think Pomp's reaction to that would have been something like: eye-roll "Bitches always be tryin' to get me to take my shirt off"
Bendigeidfran Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Well, considering his looks, that wouldn't be a surprise at all.
Sacerdos Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Crap on a stick! Okay, gonna due a quick edit before anyone else posts; Sac, I hope you don't mind taking one for the team Oh, sure! Pick on me, why don't you? More to the point: a chance to throw in some more roleplaying? Ow! Stop twisting my arm! ;)
Avenger Assembled Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Pompadour, can you resist Student Body's style? (Resist the sleaze! ) Have two HP for the complication and the GM Fiat.
Heritage Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Grim's taking 10 with Hide in Plain Sight, for a total of 32. Also it occurs to me that Grim is technically still underage at this point, since her 21st birthday is June 17. Should I have had her being carded? She can produce a very good fake ID with Create Object if needed.
angrydurf Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 Its a private party so actually no need for being carded. Really the Claremont crew more has to worry about being caught by the chaperones than actualy aquiring the booze.
Heritage Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Its a private party so actually no need for being carded. Really the Claremont crew more has to worry about being caught by the chaperones than actualy aquiring the booze. I was pretty sure, but I thought I'd ask ;)
Ecalsneerg Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Speak softly and don't wear such a noticeable hat. Also, Beginner's Luck to Intimidate. (1d20+9=24) Go, scary Geckoman, go!
Lord Fell Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Resist Student Body's Fascinate. +16 using Bluff vs. Bluff, +2 Extra Effort, +2 Circumstance Bonus (hatred of 'Mean Girl' antics). HP re-roll +10 on rolls under 10. (1d20+20=28) That'd be a total of 38... however, I need a ruling on the circumstance bonus I added. From his background, Pompadour was a social pariah during his highschool days. His situation was bad enough to force him to try the beyond extreme make-over show that gave him his powers in the first place. Anyone who's watched enough teen fare (Cruel Intentions,Heathers, Jaw Breaker, Mean Girls, etc.) knows that the popular kids amuse themselves, and maintain their reign of terror on their respective schools by tormenting the least popular kids. Once upon a time, that kid was Pompadour... and now that he knows who/what Student Body is, he hates her with the hatred of 1000 haters. I also edited my last IC post to end where he was passing that group.
