quotemyname
So now that the 'players involved' have been notified, is there really still a problem? After all the hooplah we have risen here, I am sure at least one judge is watching the thread by now. Is there anything else to discus? maybe this thread could be used as a good trial run for the policy? also... POST 1000 WOOHOO! Link to comment
N/A
also... POST 1000 WOOHOO! Ladies, Gentlemen, and Other, you have just been threadjacked. :D Link to comment
quotemyname
Not intentionally I promise. It just kind of happened. But seriously. Is there still an issue here? We have come to a basic conclusion. Just watch out for double dippers okay ;) Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Looks like y'all've settled this yourselves. Don't cheat; PCs are PCs, not faux-Sidekicks. If you have two characters in the same thread, make separate posts for each; this makes counting easier, which makes the Ref who does the counting happier. Link to comment
Lord Fell
I'd still like to see Players get permission before it was done... and once we stick a fork in this thread, have something official scribbled into the books. Link to comment
quotemyname
permission from a judge? or permission from the person running the thread? Link to comment
Lord Fell
I'd say the person running the thread. If the person who dreamed up the thread, and put it in motion has a problem with it, that should put an end to it right there. Then sending a Ref notification just to keep everything on the up and up. Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
That's just overcomplicating things. Really, if all the players in the thread are cool with it, the refs aren't going to object. Link to comment
Lord Fell
They should still be notified. Link to comment
angrydurf
Maybe I'm delusional but I think generally at least on of the refs is reading every thread in here or at least aware of the basics of it. Doc and MCBE regularly comment on threads that niether they nor their characters are involved in at all. I'm not a ref and I keep track of most threads just so as not to be lost. I think this can really come down to the question being asked in either the anouncement theread here or in the threads OCC just like bringing in any other character. Link to comment
