N/A Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Arrowhawk has passed out in Scarab's lobby Scarab's infirmary, actually. DarkStar knows where it is by now.
Ecalsneerg Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I must have failed to notice in my near-death haze
Avenger Assembled Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Don't know if my vision actually is good enough to see into the crater from the rim, but thought I'd give it a try. :)
Cyroa Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 for the record, Malice and DS aren't in the crater (should be empty now). We're over to wherever Ace setup the medical thing
Dr Archeville Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 He'd still need to make a Notice check -- there's still a lot of fire and smoke and screaming people.
Geez3r Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Or DS could do the easy thing and send everyone the information over the mental link. With the added bonus of everyone hearing the evil monolouge
Avenger Assembled Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Be that as it may, I have been asked, and so I provide: 21 ;)
Dr Archeville Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 Avenger does indeed see Malice. Though he's got an arm off. And he's got some red on him.
N/A Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 To clarify, again: As free actions, ANY of you can send telepathic messages to anyone (or everyone) else, and ANY of you can perceive through the senses of any other hero on the scene, unless they choose to resist. You can all look through each others eyes and hear through each others ears. That's why I went to the trouble of adding the Affects Others and Area extras onto the powers in this stunt. The Scarab is acting as a switchboard, but you don't need to ask for the operator's assistance. You can just dial the number(s) you want.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Since I'm not flying, and moving over pretty rough terrain, I'll say that's my action. (Not that it really matters, since we're out of initiative. )
Ecalsneerg Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 This is one of the two big bottleneck threads? Can we kick it up the ass and get it moving fast?
Dr Archeville Posted August 11, 2009 Author Posted August 11, 2009 I was still waiting on people's reactions on seeing Malice being brought out of the pit by Dark Star. I'm guessing that "hey, Dark Star's got Malice, a known metahuman-hating supervillain" is something Scarab would've made sure everyone in the Psychic Friends Network would've received; when Phantom and Sen dropped their rescues off at the bivouac Ace set up, they can see Dark Star & Malice there.

"Hey, DarkStar's got Malice" is probably about the only reaction anyone is going to have. It's pretty well common knowledge by this point that if DarkStar has someone, they're not getting away.
Cyroa Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Hey! People can still escape! He'lll, a damn pl 6 guy evaded him for a bit. *hangs head in shame*
Geez3r Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 And for all anyone knows, Malice just blew up Riverside. (And with all the Villain Points I have knocking about, I can do it again )
Dr Archeville Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Alrighty, folks, there's a little something for ya.
N/A Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Mind Reading check to initiate a Probe vs. Malice (opposed by Will Save): 22. Malice gets a DC20 Notice check to realize The Scarab is attempting to read his mind.
Geez3r Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Point of note: Malice has been out of his power armor for quite a while now actually.
Geez3r Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Notice check to detect mind reading DC 20 (1d20+6=7) Utterly Oblivious Will save to Oppose Mind reading DC 22 (1d20+8=11) Failed. But I'll be a pain in the butt and VP that. Will save to Oppose Mind reading DC 22 - VP reroll (1d20+8=17) rolled a 9, gets bumped up to a 19+8 = 27
N/A Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 The Scarab takes 10 on a Sense Motive check against Malice's Bluff. She gets 30.
Geez3r Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 What bluff? Lest we forget, Malice was attacked when he was sitting at home. He didn't make it go boom, and for all he knows, you or somebody else did in fact set him up. He did lose everything, and he gained nothing. And he mentioned he was attacked. He's accusatory, but I don't see where he's lied even by omission.
N/A Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I'll take that as "Malice chooses to autofail the Bluff vs. Sense Motive and Scarab knows he's telling the truth." The Scarab flies down to the bottom of the crater and activates Postcognition.
