Avenger Assembled Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 OK, our Initiative Order is Breakdown: 24 Dr. Darkness: 19 Eddie, you're up.
quotemyname Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 My bad, Make that DC21. I looked at the wrong line on my DC block.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 OK, just so I'm clear: which alternate form does Eddie have active right now?
quotemyname Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Rock form. Sorry thought that would have been clear. (Its the only form in which his punches are any good.) Do you want me to start linking you to songs or is that not necessary?
Avenger Assembled Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 No, just say "Eddie currently has his Rock Form active." I can look on his sheet to know what stats that gives him; I just don't want to be telling you what your character is doing if you have a different idea. :)
quotemyname Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Okay. Eddie currently has his Rock Form active. You may continue :D
Avenger Assembled Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 OK, that's Move-Action Intimidate, an Unarmed Attack, and a Grapple. Breakdown is at -4 on his grapple checks, since Dr. Darkness is especially good at this (has Improved Pin). Have an HP, since I fiated.
quotemyname Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Okay, Not gonna bother rolling vs. the intimidate since he hits me anyways (I am assuming that its from the startle feat?) What is the DC on this Toughness Save (1d20 6=20)? (Hero point noted) And I shall oppose your grapple! (1d20 10=12) ... And fail. But its not going to matter! ... At the start of my turn I will activate my jazz form, granting me freedom from entrapment/entanglement. I believe this gets me out of the grapple, correct? Let me know so I can make an IC post properly.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 Nice Toughness roll, quote! You passed by one. And yeah, Eddie's going to have a good chance to show off his jazz form here. A good way for his teachers to learn about his capabilities! See, there are advantages to nerfing Improved Pin; otherwise Darkness coulda given you a whuppin' on his turn. :D
quotemyname Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Okay, thanks. I'll IC in a sec. So the immunity does work right? just to be sure...
quotemyname Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Breakdown Calming attack vs. Darkness. (1d20+6=9) That's not gonna work. HP that! (ill spend the one I got from fiat. I still have two remaining.) Calm emotions (1d20+6=22) That's the one posted in the thread as well. Good thing I have a bunch of great attacks in Jazz form! :P
Avenger Assembled Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 I need four Concentration checks from you, mah good man: DC 5 DC 10 DC 15 and DC 20
quotemyname Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Concentration (With trance active) (1d20+4=21, 1d20+4=7, 1d20+4=15, 1d20+4=9) Strangely Erratic I might add. There is a free action before those rolls to activate Trance form.
quotemyname Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I was going to cue the benny hill theme song, but I don't think that would be too appropriate for... Activating Rock Form! Relevant ability: Speed 4
Avenger Assembled Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 Let's see, hmm. Gimmie a Speed power check, Eddie.
quotemyname Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Speed Power Check (1d20+4=11) Kinna Crappy...But lets see what happens...
