Electra
I would like to make an AP for Fleur de Joie's Snare array that is an attack Transmit power. I would like to have Transmit 4 (Attack, Requires Grapple). Basically, once I have an opponent wrapped up in a vine or a tree, I would like to be able to transmit them to a police station or somewhere not too far away. Normally transmit in combat is for very short distances, but the book says that at the GM's discretion, a character may be able to do an Extended Range transmit where they can go their full round distance (in her case a mile) if they take a full round and give up their dodge bonus for the duration. Is that something I'd be able to do? Link to comment
Dr Archeville
No. I've repeatedly expressed my dislike of Teleport/Transmit (Useable as Attack). If you want to move people without also moving with them, use TK. Link to comment
quotemyname
So does this mean it would be a no-no to make a character with a Teleport attack that is anchored to the Cornfields of Central USA? (Child of the Corn) :P Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
I'm sure Steve Kenson has stated at some point that Teleport as an attack disallows the use of the long-range version. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
UP says something similar, actually: default is that you teleport to short range distance, not extended, though GMs may allow long-range 'ports as a full-round action & both you and the target are disoriented/flat-footed for one round afterwards.
