I am exploring the Insubstantial power, and I was wondering if it is possible to purchase the Permanent flaw on a power within the Alt Form when the Alt Form itself is Sustained? Example: ":djeip9dm]Insubstantial 3 Flaw: Permanent [12pp] Is that possible?
Ecalsneerg Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Firstly, yes. This just means that when the Alternate Form is active you must remain Insubstantial. Secondly, to apply the Permanent Flaw you must add the Continuous extra, so the cost remains the same due to an overall +0 modifier.

I figure if I add that back in, it might work out as a flaw? I am just looking for an effective way to knock down the point cost so it is more affordable.
Dr Archeville Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 If Sonic were a common energy attack form, yes. Since it's an uncommon form, used by less than a handful of characters (PC or otherwise), I'd say it'd be a drawback.
