Avenger Assembled Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 History check to know cool stuff about the Flightpaths' careers: 26
alderwitch Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 Whoops! I meant to post this earlier. Flightpath II was active from 1985 to 1991, starting as a teen super-hero herself. She jetted around Freedom City on a motorcycle. Often at odds with her grittier counterparts of the era, she vanished right at the end of the age and hasn't been active since. She used a bow and athletics. No meta-human abilities ever noted. She was pretty C-list as super heros go and mostly worked downtown trying to keep crime to a minimum using silver age tactics in the iron age. Of course, she operated illeagally but she lacked a lot of the grim and gritty of her contemperaries, which is why she remained a minor hero in history. Flightpath I was a hero during the height of the silver age. Also starting as a young man in his teens in 1959, he was active for a lengthy career that ended in the very early 80s. Around 1981 he retired for good and four years later his daughter took up the mantle. There was the occasional theory that he'd been trained by the Bowman but he never gave it any credence. He was very much styled off of Erol Flynn's Robin Hood and went after corporate criminals. Like his daughter, he tended to make the down town area his stomping ground. Never a formal member of any group, he was a staunch ally to anyone who could call themselves a hero.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Quote, have an HP! That's an action that really makes me say, "Hey, that seems like something Eddie would do!"
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Prolly rolled more dice than I needed to. Ah well. :)
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 This is a Trip attack vs. Hellion. Using my Dex: 4 That was horrible, just horrible! 14 Still not very good. :P
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Oh noes with the counter-trip So, in the drink for both of us, Cy?
quotemyname Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 i was told to make a trip attack: I wonder what's playing; Trip Attack; Opposition roll with Dex (1d20=12, 1d20+6=16, 1d20+2=3) Well that actually gives me ROCK form. I'll change that last roll to opposition with strength and make a re-roll Har, Not much better: opposition with str (1d20+4=6)
quotemyname Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 swim (1d20+4=7) Wow... I can feel the hatred just pouring out of Invisible Castle. My last three rolls were 1, 2, and 3!
Avenger Assembled Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Power-stunting Comprehend (read and understand all) (codes and cyphers) (Affect Others, Burst Area) (16 pp) and Enhanced Skills Knowledge (Cartography) 12 (3 pp) off my Probability Control here, bawss. Luckily, Edge is familiar with such shenanigans, and can explain them to his chums!
alderwitch Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 More than good enough! Holey toledo, batman! You are indeed correct. It is a cypher based on following city landmarks. The starting point for which is marked by a sword and dragon: St George's Cathedral in midtown.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 How we doin', team? Ready to get there?
alderwitch Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 Q, Eddie's only got a 100 ft Teleport to places he can percieve. Are you really going to have him try and jump blind underground? Without accurate, that might be kinda hazardous.
quotemyname Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 That's why Mark snatched the map away before Eddie could do something stupid ;)
