Barnum Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 It's up to you guys, I don't care which. It makes the most sense for the changes not to take effect in the middle of the thread, but since threads can last weeks, keeping up with the various version of your character could get tricky. Thoughts?

MarkK Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Thoughts require having a strong opinion on the subject! I was really only asking for sake of clarity. Uhm.. hm. The point about how long threads can go is a good one mind you.

MarkK Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 It doesn't really matter for my action /too/ much, so, going to go ahead and post it. Basically, going to fly under Agnes and go for a power attack wallop for full while in defensive stance (if we were including recently spent pp, I'd be using defensive attack for full instead, basically affects what my defense bonus is), which.. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1450444/ Hits either way with her defense at 3, moving such that I'm standing on her sword via one foot on the hilt, and using natural weight pressing against it to embed it further into the ground, i.e all the way to the beginning of the hilt, ideally.. Save DC is 30 for the punchery.

Lilac Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Toughness save vs DC 30. (1d20 13=26) That's 1 bruise. If I want to get my sword back, what do I do? Make a disarm attempt? If it comes down to just pulling the sword out of the floor, I can do that easily.

Barnum Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 Yeah, I think a disarm attempt works okay for this.

MarkK Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Oh, my defense bonus right now is +15 if we're counting recent upgrading, or +10 if not.

Lilac Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Actually, I think I'm going to voluntarily fail my toughness save (down to unconscious).

Barnum Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 Fine with me. You can recover from your unconsciousness whenever you think it is most dramatically appropriate (without rolling).
