Master_Pelle
After the release of Mecha And Manga (in pdf), I wondering if mecha rules can be used in Freedom City? Because Doc Otaku and few villains use mecha to cause mayhem and destruction to their enemies. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
No, we're not. Most of the Mecha rules that book has are of use for running big mecha vs. mecha brawls and/or mecha-centric campaigns. The latter doesn't happen here, and the former is so rare we can make do with the regular rules from the core books. Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
Buy it as a Device with Growth. It will be cheaper and more effective. The mecha rules in MeMa look good until you realise everything is overpriced and a bit counter-intuitive. Link to comment
Geez3r
That being said, there's nothing stopping your from shamelessly ripping off good ideas from the book. You probably can't do it the exact way they did it, but with a few modifications you have a suit of power armor that just so happens to be mecha-ish. I recommend keeping it Gargantuan or smaller, bigger than that is a little silly by FC standards. Link to comment
Master_Pelle
I see, it will become rarely to use mecha in Freedom City. I have had a idea to make mecha pilot hero but it seem that I have to scrap that idea. But I still have other ideas for new heroes. Link to comment
