MBCE Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 Okay. All those participating in the thread recieve the normal HP/VP and an additional one for complications. Expect to get more for inventive posting! So Status Leon -- 2 HP Boomer -- 2 HP Dr. Archvielle -- 4 HP Wesley -- 4 HP Atlas -- 3 HP Zealot -- 2 VP I need a DC 24 notice check from Boomer. I need a DC 30 notice check from Leon.
MBCE Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 I need a DC 16 notice check from Zealot. I need a DC 16 notice check from Wesely as well. I need a DC 24 notice check from Atlas.
Master_Pelle Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Notice checks. (1d20+10=21) A mental note... Increase Leon´s Notice skill....
Eviscerus Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Notice Check 33 Nothing hides from a true beleiver ;)
Eviscerus Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Stealth Roll of 29 not so hot but hope it wil do. Also wondering if the creature sets off magical super senses. For right now I'm just studying the thing, trying to keep it from noticing me as I move in.
Sandman XI Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Nightmare roll! 5 or leass or fatigued (1d20=4) Not fatigued today!
MBCE Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Nightmare roll! 5 or leass or fatigued (1d20=4) Not fatigued today! :?: Dc 5, right? You rolled a 4. That means you're fatigued, correct? -4 on all rolls.
Geez3r Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 No it's actually different for Drawbacks. His drawback is very common (DC 5) meaning that it happens practically everyday. Effectively at the start of an adventure, he rolls 1d20. If it exceeds a 5, then he has beaten the DC and is therefore fatigued. If it was a common drawback it would be DC 10, and uncommon would be DC 15 (page 125 of Core book). Also: FATIGUED Fatigued characters cannot move all out or charge and suffer a –2 penalty to effective Strength and Dexterity and a –1 penalty on attack and defense. A fatigued character who does something else or suffers an effect that would normally cause fatigue becomes exhausted.

MBCE Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Leon and Atlas I need a Dex check DC 15 for Atlas to grab and stop the treadmill from flying through the window. (the strength check you can make taking 10 so only the Dex is needed.) I need a Dex Check DC 30 from Leon for him to get to the weight machine in time to save the man. (The strength check you can make taking 10 so only the Dex is needed.) I need a Notice check DC 29 from both Atlas and Leon. If you make a DC 20 check on the roll, you notice that the machine you're at has a hole in it and sparks fly from the opening in the machine. [Atlas, the treadmill, Leon the weight machine]
Master_Pelle Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Hmm... I don't think it is much idea for Leon to make Dex roll because it is completely impossible for him. Because he have only +7 of Dex modifier and the maximal roll he can do is only 27 while DC is 30. Even he use extra effort, the maximal result will be only be 29.

That should have been acrobatics, not Dex for Leon. I started with dex and changed it to Acrobatics after looking at the character sheet again.
MBCE Posted September 4, 2009 Author Posted September 4, 2009 Zealot Notice check DC 20. EDIt: Which you can easily beat taking ten so no need to roll.
Geez3r Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Dexterity Check DC 15 (1d20+0=2) hrmmm. Don't want some random townie getting squished, so I'll have to Hero Point that. Dexterity Check DC 15 - Hero Point Reroll (1d20+0=2) Guess I miss the treadmill. Notice Check - DC 29 (1d20+8=27) So close and yet so far
Kavos Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Notice check = 11 *Note: I'm going to be adding Quick change to boomer, so if you'd like we could say he used that to get changed to skip the whole 10 rounds of getting changed, but it's up to you *

I started with dex and changed it to Acrobatics after looking at the character sheet again. Now that is different, but still I fail the rolls... (stupid Invisibly Castle...) Acrobatics check (1d20+15=27) I will spend a Hero Points to make reroll. Acrobatics Check (1d20+15=18) That guy is gonna die hard... Notice check (1d20+10=26)
Sandman XI Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Making Wesley a Tier 2 NPC. You may use him as you will, MBCE.
MBCE Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Notice check = 11 *Note: I'm going to be adding Quick change to boomer, so if you'd like we could say he used that to get changed to skip the whole 10 rounds of getting changed, but it's up to you * I saw you were going through a lot of changes for Boomer. As you have yet to do anything with powers, I ahve no problems using the new materials. Just let me know what changes are coming. The quick change is fine.
MBCE Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Making Wesley a Tier 2 NPC. You may use him as you will, MBCE. Then I'm going to simply write him out. I've got enough PCs in the thread and don't need the extra character.
