Dr Archeville Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Yes. Yes, they are. (Which is why his presence makes Phantom nauseous )
MBCE Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 EVERYONE Leon can jump down to the first floor with an Acrobatics check to lessen the damage. The distance to the first floor is 20 ft so DC 17 toughness save. Atlas has five gremlins on him while twelve are all around. Doc has to make a grapple check to shake off the gremlin on him. Zealot, the source of the creatures are on the first floor somewhere. Also, keep in mind that your nullify stunt will be dampened by walls and other objects in the way. So the blast would affect the creatures in your area, and most likely everything out in the open on the second floor, but have little effect to things on the first and third floor. New round. Status Leon -- 1 HP Boomer -- 1 HP Dr. Archeville -- 4 HP Atlas -- 2 HP 129 rnds left Zealot -- 1 VP 1)Gremlins are all minions. 2)DEF +4 (Elusive Target), Toughness +2 [Protection 3],F+2, R+2, W+3 [Fearless]
Dr Archeville Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Opposed grapple check... only a 10. I'll keep it. Give us a chance to see just how nasty these lil' things can be. ;)
Eviscerus Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 ok. I just put the uber ranks in progression so I could affect a wide enough area to cover the mall, didn't want it to cover the entire city. hehe. Anyways, since the source is on the first floor I'll wait till I get down there before stunting it.
Master_Pelle Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I take 10 on Acrobatic so that the result become 25 (10+15). So that I take no damage from falling to first floor (25-5=20, reduce falling feet by 20 so that it become 0 feet).
MBCE Posted September 19, 2009 Author Posted September 19, 2009 Opposed grapple check... only a 10. I'll keep it. Give us a chance to see just how nasty these lil' things can be. Well your 10 beat it's 1 so you shake it off. :D
Dr Archeville Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Well your 10 beat it's 1 so you shake it off. Works for me :D
Geez3r Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Hopefully that Freeze Breath will be enough to hold the little buggers. I would have used Shockwave, but that seemed like it would cause more damage than it would prevent. :shame: So the little buggers need to make 2 DC 20 reflex saves. I would have rolled, but I didn't know how many of them I could effect. From 30ft away, Atlas' Freeze Breath should have a radius of 15' or a 30ft diameter.
Master_Pelle Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Ok, I take 10 on attack against gremlins and also use Power Attack feat by taking -5 on attack (So the total will be 18) and +5 on damage (so that total damage bonus will be +12). But that mean the gremlins don't have chance to make toughness save (because they have only +2) unless I can't use Power Attack feat when I take 10 against minions. And also Leon have Takedown Attack feat at rank 2 so that he could attack all the 3 gremlins. Is this action fulled legal before I make post at IC thread?
Dr Archeville Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 You can use Power Attack when attacking Minions, even if Taking 10 to hit 'em.
Kavos Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Boomer: power used, Environmental control: Distraction (DC 15)

Looks good. make the post and I'll move you along.
MBCE Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 Boomer: power used, Environmental control: Distraction (DC 15) Twenty in sight, rolled for groups of five. which means he gets five DC15 groups of five. (1d20+3=13, 1d20+3=17, 1d20+3=17, 1d20+3=20)
Eviscerus Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Okay then, I will now try to track the source being on the first floor. w00ts! got a 30 Hopefully that'll show me where the source is. Edit: Taking 10 on stealth checks, making it a 30. If I can discern the source, I will be moving towards it.
Kavos Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Boomer: Emotion control 5 (50 radius), He'll try to change there emotion to Happiness/fun (with the object being himself)
Master_Pelle Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I make a check for notice something in the first floor. Notice check (1d20+10=14)
Eviscerus Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Gonna be taking 10 on stealth and notice checks. Trying to see if one of the women, or the hero is magically attuned or if there's remnants of a summoning spell in the area of the kiosk.
Geez3r Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 All out Attack 5, take a 10 on my attack roll, which will hit, so I can now start a grapple. I again take a 10 on my grapple check, netting me a 45, unless I am mistaken, this would be well out the scope of a small creature's ability to escape. I will simply pin the creature rather than damage it. Doc, I leave the analysis up to you, using whatever methods you deem necessary
Dr Archeville Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 So, MBCE, what can Doc's scanners tell him? Or do their tech-nullifying powers also give them a tech-concealing ability, like what Ghost has?
MBCE Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 So, MBCE, what can Doc's scanners tell him? Or do their tech-nullifying powers also give them a tech-concealing ability, like what Ghost has? That depends on what scanner you're using. What can your scanners detect? As I don't see magic as being on the list of items then he's not going to get much.

As I don't see magic as being on the list of items then he's not going to get much. His Gadgets can make scanners that can detect pretty much anything but magic. What would, say, an x-ray show? Or a blood sample?
MBCE Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 His Gadgets can make scanners that can detect pretty much anything but magic. What would, say, an x-ray show? Or a blood sample? X-Ray would still show a form present with bone structure. A blood sample, which would mean getting very close to the creature, and they are immobile while pinned, not helpless. Want to chance getting a blood sample?
Eviscerus Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Rolling an intimidate check to demoralize Leon. Got a 20 Resist with will, sense motive or intimidate check DC 20
Master_Pelle Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Did not notice that he make intimidate check... Intimidate check (1d20+8=13) I will edit the post.
Dr Archeville Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Scanned with Analytical X-Ray Vision. Now for a blood sample...
