Geez3r Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Atlas let out a scream of surprise as the device exploded in front of him, and reflexively shielded his face with his free arm. "Doctor! Vat happened!? Are you alright?" called Atlas to Doctor Archeville who was floating way above his head. "Bet ya zought zat vas pretty funny." asked Atlas to the little imp in his hand.
MBCE Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 Zealot Zealot works frantically to close the envelope which lessens the flow of magical energy but the seal was broken. With no other course left to him, the villain slammed his scourge into the ground with tremendous force. A wave of magical energy billowed out from the weapon rolling ever further outward. The magical energy pouring from the envelope suddenly stops as Zealot's power washes over it. The gremlins caught in the area also disappear once their connection is cut off. Gremlins begin disappearing from the area as the connection to the world. With the envelope out of commission, the results are like a domino effect. The creatures new to the world and closer to Zealot's wave of power begin to disappear quickly. As seconds pass, creatures outside of the area begin to disappear as well.
MBCE Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 Atlas and Dr Archeville The gremlin within Atlas hands continues to squirm within his hands ignoring his captive's words. Suddenly it disappeared just as the other creatures in sight did so as well. Soon, Atlas and the Doctor were alone.
MBCE Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 Boomer The group of gremlins kept following the pretty lights that made up Boomer's form. Suddenly they began to disappear as their connection to the world was severed. Soon, Boomer was alone. He could see Atlas and Dr Archeville still int he center area of the mall, also alone.
Dr Archeville Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 @%! AHHH! @%! AHHH! @%! AHHH! Archeville hovered near the mall's skylight, trying to stop himself from hyperventilating. Calling down to Atlas didn't really help. "Crush... dat... ding!"
Geez3r Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 "Don't have to. It just vent avay. Not poof, just fade." Atlas didn't really want to say too much. It appeared as if the lose of his device hit Doctor Archeville quite hard. He had seen a few pictures of Doctor Archeville in the past and pretty much without exception, that little metal stick had been with him the entire time. It was probably Doc's favorite. He had to more of less let him grieve in his own way. Besides, he was quite curious as to what happened to the little buggers.
MBCE Posted November 21, 2009 Author Posted November 21, 2009 The creatures began to disappear quicker as their connection was destroyed. It wasn't long until the mall was gremlin free. There was no signs of where the creatures went nor any remains of the creatures. The only signs of the creatures even being present were the damaged machines through out the mall.
Eviscerus Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Zealot huffs out a breath as the gremlins disappear from the mall, he takes stock of his surroundings and nods appreciatively. Zealot looked to the tattered clothed here and spat, "There, it's over. If it hadn't been for me you so called heroes and these creatures would have been battering at each other for all eternity. Not every situation can be solved with fists. Sometimes you need a brain. Which is something most of you do gooders don't have." Without another word Zealot walks out of the mall and into the city streets, feeling a twang of regret for not letting the gremlins have a chance at eating the heroes of this acerebral mall. ~fin~
