Cyrith Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Gordy stretched as he lay on his bed in his dorm room, reading Variety. Sure, he had an English test due tomorrow, but studying was soooo boring. Besides, he was pulling a B- average, so it’s not like it would matter. His parents might be a tad disappointed by his grades come report card time('did they even do that here', he wondered?), but not surprised. He knew his mother had hoped that going away to school might inspire him to study harder, but really all it did was teach him all the fun ways he could use his voice now. Besides, it was a much better use of his time to search for casting calls. He was destined for fame and he knew it. Now if only there were more parts for a young looking 14 year old. Though being able to sing like an angel, if he did say so himself, helped. While looking, he starts to sing, low at first so you wouldn’t hear him if you weren’t listening, then louder. For reasons known only to him, the song he has chosen is the Ballad of Booth. The song drifts out under the door and into the hallways as the theater kid’s head fills with visions of standing ovations.

CollateralKid Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Preston lay on his couch talking to his girlfriend back home on his phone...with much effort mind you. For the last several minutes Preston has been trying to hold a conversation with some jerk singing down the hall. Ending the call he let out a heavy sigh and decided to investigate the noise... Walking down the dorm hallways he came across the source of the noise. It was singing and they werent bad by the sound of it, but gosh darnit it wouldnt let him have a few minutes on the phone. He decided to put his skills at use. Morphing into a campus cop he banged on the door as loud as he could to overcome the music.
