Dr Archeville
Sounds good. Full round to switch brain from Enhanced Charisma to Enhanced Wisdom. Wis is now 34/+12, so he's got a +12 on Concentration. Extra Effort to SURGE, gaining another Move action to use Teleport. Concentration check is... 24! Failed by 1! HP to re-roll and... oh, come on! Another 24! And Doc's fatigued, too. Emperor does his thing. Atlas arrives 5 feet in front of where the wormhole was. And may now smash. Link to comment
Geez3r
ATLAS MISS BY A MILE. 2 points in leaping, everything else in SS. Atlas lifting strength is now 95. Knievel's up. Link to comment
quotemyname
Standard Action to maintain grapple the pin on Doc with a Defensive Attack 5: opposed grapple (1d20+28=41) DEF set to 30 Not as good as last time, but it should hold ;) Link to comment
Jimb011
Heres what I want to do...I guess Ill have to use disable device to start the car...then drive/attack with the car at Dr. Archville then just as i am about to hit him I was going to do an acrobatic tuck and roll out of the car...can I do that in one round? Link to comment
Geez3r
It's a full round action to hot-wire the car. Link to comment
quotemyname
Just for future reference: The stuff you put below the line can just go in OOC. Makes the story flow better that way. Link to comment
Jimb011
Dr. Annihilate is Disable the device protecting the cars ignition using Improvised tools. Ah ok, I'll just move this here Link to comment
Dr Archeville
DC to hotwire a car is 15-20, so the nefarious Dr. Annihilation now has a running car! Middle of Round 2 Initiative & Conditions 26 -- Knievel -- Unharmed -- 3 Villain Points 17 -- Annihilate -- Unharmed -- 2 Villain Points 9A -- Archeville -- Unharmed -- 2 Hero Points (but grappled), fatigued 9B -- Emperor -- Unharmed -- 3 Villain Points 1 -- Atlas -- Unharmed -- 2 Hero Points Now is Doc's turn! Doc still can't break that grapple check, so he attempts to escape the grapple by teleporting out of it. 60 feet up & 35 feet back (which works out to be about 70 feet total distance). Or does he? DC 25 Concentration check... bloody hell, 22! I get two move action, so trying again to teleport... ah, better, a 31 Emperor, go! Note: since your Magnetic Control is not Subtle, it's obvious to all that it's you doing it; his power is not invisible like Magneto's. Link to comment
Thejoshie
DC 27 Intimdate check for the Doc ish needed. DC 22 Startle Attempt as well (the minus 5 penalty for being used as a move action is already included). Link to comment
Geez3r
Atlas lacks ability to form complex sentence structures! Gives more time for hitting! Using Shockwave PF on Captain, who needs to make a DC 20 Reflex save, followed by a DC 25/20 toughness save, depending on whether or not he passes or fails the save. All points are allocated to Super-Strength, the leap Atlas did was from his base Leaping 1. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
DC 27 Intimdate check for the Doc ish needed. DC 22 Startle Attempt as well (the minus 5 penalty for being used as a move action is already included). Doc's Pseudonatural Mind is still set on Enhanced Wisdom, so his Sense Motive is +17. Got a 26 on the first, 36 on the second. So he is demoralized from the Intimidate (shaken, -2 on attacks, saving throws, and checks for one round), but not startled/feinted (so he's not flat-footed). And with Atlas's action, that marks the end of Round 2. Link to comment
quotemyname
Reflex DC 20 (1d20+8=16) My first toughness save sucked. Re-roll: TOU DC 25 (1d20.minroll(11)+9=21) Bruised Also had to VP my attack roll this round. Down to 1VP :/ Link to comment

Dr Archeville
Doc's Fort save (w/ -2 for being shaken) is... a 4! Which fails by... 25... Spend HP to re-roll, and I get... 20! Which only fails by 9, putting me at Stunned & Bruised. Rank 14 Damage effect & Doc's Kockback of -14 = 0 Knockback. B/c he's Stunned, his Force Field and Flight (both Sustained effects) may drop. He needs to make a Concentration check, DC (10 + power rank), in order to maintain them as a reaction. Fortunately for Doc, his brain's still in Enhanced Wisdom mode, so he's got a +12 total on Concentration. Force Field 11 = DC 21. And his check is... 26, so his force field stays up. Flight 5 = DC 15. And his check is... 24, so he stays up in the air. Middle of Round 3 Initiative & Conditions 26 -- Knievel -- 1 Villain Point -- Bruise x1 17 -- Annihilate -- 2 Villain Points -- Unharmed 9A -- Archeville -- 1 Hero Point -- Bruise x1, fatigued, stunned 9B -- Emperor -- 3 Villain Points -- Unharmed 1 -- Atlas -- 2 Hero Points -- Unharmed Doc is Stunned, and so can do nothing. Emperor, go! Link to comment
Thejoshie
Alright first Mervyl drops the car and fires a full power E-M Disruptor (Fancy Pants name for his blast. Better then 'Blast 12'). So this means Power Attack. +5 max to his blast makes the Save DC 32. Attack Roll: 12 It's not over. Extra Effort, another full power attack (if necessary): 18 And for good measure, a VP to remove fatigue (Note: The remaining VP's are for Leadership). EDIT: Yes, I did subtract five from my Attack Bonus. Just forgot to mention it. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
First attack misses (his stunned/flat-footed Defense is 14), second hits. DC 32 Toughness, eh? Well, Doc got an 18, which fails by 14, putting him at Staggered & Stunned. Knockback = 15 - 14 = 1 = 1 foot (or knocked prone, but I don't think you can be knocked prone while flying in the air) I'm gonna keep that, and hang on to my last HP. Atlas, SMASH! Link to comment
quotemyname
If you're stunned a second time in the same round do you need to roll to maintain you're force field and such again? Link to comment
Thejoshie
Mervyl made TWO attacks, Doc. Extra Effort. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
If you're stunned a second time in the same round do you need to roll to maintain you're force field and such again? I think it's only a once/round thing. I'll dig around. Mervyl made TWO attacks, Doc. Extra Effort. Your first one missed. Link to comment
Thejoshie
I thought it hit. Doc is 14 defense flat-footed Minus 2 for being stunned. That's 12. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Shoot, I keep forgetting Stunned does add on an additional -2 to Defense. Okay, second Toughness save is... 27, fails by 5, takes a Bruise. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Since Dr. Annihilate has run away, I'll remove him from the Initiative count. Doc's DC 29 Fort save vs. Knievel's attack... 21, fails by 8, so another Bruised and still Stunned. Concentration checks to keep Sustained things up Force Field 11 = DC 21. And his check is... 16, a failure, so his Force Field drops! Flight 5 = DC 15. And his check is... 19, so he stays up in the air. One bit of good news for Doc: failing the Concentration check netted him a Hero Point for the setback. Middle of Round 4 Initiative & Conditions 26 -- Knievel -- 1 Villain Point -- Bruise x1 9A -- Archeville -- 2 Hero Points -- Bruise x3, fatigued, stunned, staggered 9B -- Emperor -- 1 Villain Points -- Unharmed 1 -- Atlas -- 2 Hero Points -- Unharmed Emperor, go!
