James returned from flirting with a recently arrived brunette and headed back to where the others were setup. He clapped Mike on the shoulder as he passed. "Buck up, you're here and that's what counts. Even if you want to bolt," he said with a grin.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at Eddie's use of powers. Another kid who didn't get the concept of subtle. If Eddie wanted to keep 'powers' out of the band then he really needed to work on that. But since it didn't particularly matter to James, he gave a mental shrug and picked up his guitar. He was just here to have fun after all. They eventually find a replacement for him if the band went anywhere. Despite the skill, making it big was mostly luck. Of course, if Mark hung around Eddie enough, that would take care of itself most likely.

While the other's talked JJ went over to were the drum set was set up, and began to set up his Holographic keyboard. He didn't know when Eddie planed to start, but it couldn't heart to get thing's ready now.

Once done JJ wandered over to the rest of the group, giving a quick hello to the knew arrivals.

Zöe had her amp set up and plugged in, and her guitar tuned and ready, in the blink of an eye. She downed the last of her beer, tossed it in a nearby trash bin, and let her fingers begin to dance and tear along the strings. "Don't mind me, guys. I'm just gonna do a little pre-show warm-up." She grinned, rested one foot up on the arm of the nearest couch, and unleashed a guitar re-imagining of a certain ubiquitous piece of classical music.

In response to Zoe's heating up her guitar, Eddie quickly pointed at the sound system, which promptly shut off. This effectively made Z the center of attention for all five minutes that she played her impromptu solo for.

While she was playing, Eddie silently motioned to the other members of the band. The communication was clear. He wanted them on-stage and ready to go when she finished up with what she was playing. He couldn't let an intro like this one go without following it up. He couldn't have picked a better way to start off the night, really.

Okay, he thought We'll just cover the basics. A few of the more famous cover songs, and one or two original songs. We don't want to give everything away at this point, and besides we've only had a few practices to work with...

James listened appreciatively as Zoe played. He picked up a guitar, checking the strings quietly as she finished. Eddie wanted this to be big so he was obligated to help showcase the group. Obviously Eddie, and he'd guess Zoe, wanted the limelight and he was happy to let them have it. He waited, listening, as her 'solo' ended. When the cue was given, he was ready to go. He might not be able to create new music like them, but he could play.

Mike was quite happy when Zoe started her impromtu solo, not only was it actually quite good it also was a pleasant distraction from all the underage drinking. He planted himself on the couch to watch and listen as the band started up thier first few songs. He was honestly surprised at how talented they all were, he was no expert but he hadn't expected much. They were his friends and all so he had come to support them, he was surprised that they actually were quite good he had kindof assumed that was just Eddie talking up his latest project.

The performance was one of a kind. The band worked well together. Eddie was just the right kind of flashy, entertaining front man. He grabbed the attention of the audience, (and more than a few of the girls in it). JJ and Alexis were the glue that held the band together picking up the rhythm section in all of their songs. James took a back seat to Zoe on the guitar parts. Though he certainly displayed a massive amount of skill himself. Being able to play support to another band member on the same instrument was no easy task.

The band played for a good 45 minutes. The brought out all the classics, and the crowd loved them. The even debuted one of Eddie's new songs near the end of their show. Though it wasn't his best work, which he was saving for an actual show, the crowd still gave their appreciation of The Freedom Fight. After all, it was the right crowd for a song like that.

With the performance over, the band stepped down from the makeshift stage, not bothering to put their instruments away just yet. Eddie stepped forward into a crowd of friends and fans he didn't know he had. Now thoroughly buzzed from the beer he had while performing, he was glad to see that people liked his act. "Eddie! Can we have your autograph?"

"Sure, sure! Just one at a time!" Eddie was all smiles. He was in his element.
