Dr Archeville Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 The OOC thread for Dr. Archeville's & Atlas's post-ambush get-together. With sandwiches.
Dr Archeville Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 :D Okay, after Doc's run-in with Captain Knievel & Emperor, he is Bruised x3, Fatigued, and Staggered. Luckily, his HQ has Healing 9 (Extra: Total; PF: Regrowth). Can't help with the Fatigue, but can help the others. First roll is a 17. That removes the Staggered and one Bruise.
Geez3r Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Tried to make Samael's accent a little more pronounced. Yay or Nay?
Dr Archeville Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 Is good, da. Of course, if we get tired of speaking in our Funetik Aksents, we can just > ;)
Geez3r Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I think there's like 4 characters on the boards who can speak Russian, so I need to get used to doing the accents, for ya know, the other 40 people. As an aside, I have no idea what they sign says.
Geez3r Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Yeah I've been looking for that clip in the Incredible Hulk where he transforms at the lab so they can test whether or not they can reverse the transformation, but I can't find it anywhere. If I didn't convey it properly, that's pretty much what it's like.
Dr Archeville Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 Technobabble time! I'm thinking Doc's scanners could work out "how" Atlas changes. The question is: how does he change? I'm thinking that, like most size-shifters in comics, he draws mass in from/shunts it out to some extradimensional space. Or, his body absorbs ambient energy and converts it into mass (like what Mr. Nobody does). In either case, the extra mass/matter is either in the form of new cells, or is in the form of something his existing cells eat/absorb that triggers some ultra-rapid multiplication & growth. Or, he gulps in air like a pufferfish to swell up ;)
angrydurf Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 ... Magic? I think more people need to give that as the answer to Doc's questions.
Geez3r Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Reverse nuclear reaction. Converts stored energy directly into mass in the form of lots of new cells. Or some crazy garbage like that.
Dr Archeville Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 I'm running a bit low on ideas. And didn't Atlas say he needed to go soon? Seems a good time to wrap this up.
Dr Archeville Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 There will be other sandwiches :)
