He wasn't always known as this. His real name was Harold Grimes. A computer programmer for a popular video game company, he worked on special projects, and sometimes able to test out the new prototype gear that was made for upcoming games. One day after work he stayed late to test out some of his new code with a 3D headset and glove that just came in by courier that morning. It was raining outside, and the thought of standing out in the rain to wait for a cab just didn't seem pleasing to him at that moment... Time to have a little fun to give his brain a rest! Activating the game, he began to play. The gear worked amazing. He felt like he was in the game, the glove and headset worked better than he expected. He really didn't notice the lights flickering, while he was playing, and suddenly the power went out. Darkness. He swore out loud, and was about to take his gear off to find a flashlight, when he tripped on something. He reached out to feel what he had tripped on but the floor was wet beneath him and his hands were now all wet, he felt what he tripped on... Suddenly the power turned back on. He was instantly electrocuted. He had a power cable in his hand, the water was dripping into the outlet, and all over the floor, and the world turned black. He woke up in a hospital room two days later. He didn't really feel different at that point in time, and took him about a week to recover before they let him out of the hospital. He actually died that night, and thanks to a fire alarm going off, somehow they resuscitated him in time, and he lived. His insurance company screwed him over and he felt the need to get justice from them. He was home recovering and began attempting to hack into the insurance company's mainframe. Focussed on getting what was owed to him, and "stick it to the man" who found a loophole in his insurance to deny him coverage for his amazing amount of hospital bills, he began his assault on their computers. He was almost in, when somehow their security began a trace. He started panicking and nearly pulled the plug. For some reason tho, the security trace paused, and stopped tracing him. Somehow, he began controlling the security program, and was able to envision himself right in the room that housed the mainframe... The next thing you knew, he was standing in the room right beside the mainframe... He touched the mainframe, and suddenly, he felt a surge of power, and began seeing all the records in his head just like they were on a computer screen. He found his record, and authorized payment of $250,000 for accidental death, and wiped all record of anyone tampering with the records. He also changed their records so it looked like the CEO, and all the directors of the company were leaking money to their bank accounts. "Look Ma! No Keyboard!" he chuckled. Somehow, he was able to see all the banks computers. The mainframe was connected through a network and firewall to the internet, and he was able to get into all their networks very easily. The distraction of a scandal should pull attention away from his claim he thought. Touching the mainframe, he closed his eyes and thought about his home wishing he was there. When he opened his eyes he was sitting in front of his computer once again. A few weeks later, he received a check in the mail for $250,000. As far as he was concerned, justice was served. That was more than enough money to not have to work for a while, and live pretty nicely. He started playing around on the internet. He gave himself a new identity, and started messing around with investments online, and the next thing you know, he became a multimillionaire named Winston McCabe III. He created a full history through government computers, fake parents, and a fake life. He moved into a mansion and thought life was grand. Boredom set in however. He now roams the streets looking for excitement. He has been known to help people in need, but at the same time he is very self serving. Sometimes he "creates" situations in order to fill his desire for fun. Some people think he is a villain, for some he is a hero. He calls himself "FLUX."

Barnum Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 1. You need to specify which power(s) Improved Critical applies to. 2. You probably already know this, but a few of your APs are underpowered. You may want it that way; many players do, but I thought I'd mention it.
