Cyroa Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 attack! 2 on Wander, 2 on Phalanx, 1 on Edge, 1 on Psyche (1d20+10=26, 1d20+10=17, 1d20+10=29, 1d20+10=27, 1d20+10=14, 1d20+10=20) So, think both hit Wander? Same for Phalanx I think I missed Edge (go figure ) But hit Psyche DC is +13, so 28?
Electra Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 So close to making both.... 27 and 33. She takes a bruised health level. Wander will also interpose for Psyche, down one toughness because she is bruised. Success, a 30.
Avenger Assembled Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Usual DC 20 Reflex/DC 25 Toughness save for all the demons. When it's my turn, anyway.
angrydurf Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Toughness saves (1d20+17=24, 1d20+17=23) Another bruise and the other would get knocked down to a bruise plus stun so I'm gonna re-roll HP for Reroll Toughness save (1d20+16=28) So I'm at 2 bruises. 1 HP left.
Cyroa Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 Reflex for regular demons (had to use something else as IC was down and at work): Rolling "1d20 +4" 8 times 1: 10 + 4 = 14 2: 9 + 4 = 13 3: 7 + 4 = 11 4: 10 + 4 = 14 5: 17 + 4 = 21 6: 19 + 4 = 23 7: 15 + 4 = 19 8: 13 + 4 = 17 So, 2 make it. The 6 Toughness checks... (down to +5 as all have taken 2 wounds from Holy water at this point...) Rolling "1d20 +5" 6 times 1: 3 + 5 = 8 2: 2 + 5 = 7 3: 10 + 5 = 15 4: 3 + 5 = 8 5: 17 + 5 = 22 6: 2 + 5 = 7 dang.... all take another wound. I think 4 get taken out? and one is staggered & Stunned? (I think this dice roller HATES me too... it's a conspiracy!) The big demons: Rolling "1d20 +8" 6 times 1: 3 + 8 = 11 2: 11 + 8 = 19 3: 15 + 8 = 23 4: 16 + 8 = 24 5: 20 + 8 = 28 6: 20 + 8 = 28 Much better. only 2 fail. (again, all have 2 injuries at this point) Rolling "1d20 +12" 6 times 1: 15 + 12 = 27 2: 16 + 12 = 28 3: 3 + 12 = 15 4: 6 + 12 = 18 5: 16 + 12 = 28 6: 16 + 12 = 28 Again with the better. So, 2 take a wound. 1 is stunned and Staggered. 1 ss stunned. The rest shrug it off! So, Phalanx & Psyche are up!
Dr Archeville Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 You can use chat for die rolling, and AlderWitch has a die roller here. EDIT: Hrm, seems AW's die roller is down, too :(
angrydurf Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Ours is back up. And should be more stable as its been migrated off my roomates development machine.
angrydurf Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Ok striagtened out what we're trying finally. If (more like when) James is fiated out of my grip Psyche and Phalanxe are gonna go super saiyan on the demons Standard action Grab Psyche and James, Free action shift paragon array to flight 7 for a total flight of 8 (2,500mph), Move action fly max distance away.
Cyroa Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 Ok, get an HP Durf. You can say how far you wish to go before stopping/aborting after the interrupt
Electra Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Erin is going to attempt to disarm the hooky-spiky whip-thing from the demon. Unarmed, straight attack this time with no modifiers, so she's at 10s across the board. First attack roll fails. Edge spends a HP on her behalf. Second attack is a 26, and succeeds. First Strength roll is just embarrassing. Wander spends one of her own HP. Result is a 28.
Cyroa Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 first 3 on Wander, 2nd 3 on Edge (1d20+10=12, 1d20+10=28, 1d20+10=22, 1d20+10=11, 1d20+10=12, 1d20+10=30) DC 28
Avenger Assembled Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I spend an HP to make the one that hit me reroll. :eye2:
Electra Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Succeeds on one, bruised and stunned by the other.
alderwitch Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Alex will power up, using her pl11 powers, fire off a mental blast, using extra effort to bump it up to a dc28 will save vs damage. She will be doing lethal.
angrydurf Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 OK so that was the big demons attacking Wander and Edge? Did we get Edges save yet? (I think a 22 hits?) I thought Edge was up before Me and Psyche or are we up now?
angrydurf Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Ok So Electra splained it too me. Phalanx will "level up" as well Move action: Fly down to attack the big nasty demon Standard Action: Power attack +5 All-out attack +5 defense set to +11d20+8=12 That wont do ... HP:HP attack roll (1d20+8=16) Becomes a 26, DC 34 Toughness, on big demon. Free Action: Switch to laser vision AP Surge Standard Action: blast one of the demons near Edge, Surge attack (1d20+11=25) DC 31 toughness. Free action: Set paragon array to superstrength just in case Trying to be in Intercept range of Edge and if possible James and Wander Not sure how spread out everyone is. 2 HP remaining
Cyroa Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Resist the will: will (1d20+10=25) Whew! It takes a Lethal. Vs the nasty Power Dive toughness... (1d20+17=26) missed that one by 8, so stunned and takes a wound. Vs Laser Vision: toughness... (1d20+16=36) hah! Nothing! Also, you can't switch it again. Almost 100% sure on that one and asked AA as well. So you're still on Laser. ok, It's spending a vp (ie you get the HP ) to shake off the stunning from the massive whacking done by Phalanx. The two little demons that are both F@#$ed up are up but they are going poof. So, top of the init order as soon as I post the demon's reaction.
Cyroa Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Order to refresh memory Wander 18 Big Demons 10 Edge 10 Phalanx 6 Psyche 6 REALLY Big Demon
angrydurf Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Laser vision was against one of the other demons not the big bad. Its two arrays so I think I can switch each once The paragon Array is flight superspeed and superstrength I'm switching from flight to super strength-strength The Laser vision is AP'd off Enhanced strength so his base strength went down and I'm trying to make up some of it with superstrength in case I need grapple action or something Just to clarify.
Cyroa Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 oh, my bad. I'll edit the post other demon: toughness (1d20+12=28) actually should be a 26. took a wound AND stunned
angrydurf Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Grapple check sucked heres teh reroll Grapple reroll (1d20+17=25) 35! Wait I am at +18 Grapple so 36
angrydurf Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Phalanx will take -3 on his toughness to ease Psyches save by the same Ultimate toughness for a 31
alderwitch Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 1d20+14=18 I'll spend my last HP for a reroll on that cuz I have it and I think we're outta combat. 1d20+14=31 Much bettar
