Electra Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 "Sounds good," Erin told him. "I'll see you guys later." She glanced over at him once more, then tucked her hair behind her ear and turned back to her history book. That had been terribly awkward, but she supposed it could've been worse. She'd have been happier if she had managed not to let on that she might have liked things to be different, but at least she hadn't admitted to the little scrap of actual jealousy down in the very bottom of her heart. Now everything could just go back to being like it had been before, and that was okay.
angrydurf Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 "Catch you later then." Mike replied as he left. It hadn't been a comfortable convorsation but he felt it better they had had it. He hoped Erin really was going to be ok. He knew she was more bothered by some of what went down than she let on but knew better than to pry. He wasn't exactly in the best position to offer advice after all. He headed up to remind Mark about dinner hopeful that things were largely back to normal now at least.
