Cyroa Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 The demon ignored the ineffectual creature, focusing on the pesky human. Big mistake. The creature bit down hard, causing the demon to reel from pain. It flailed ineffectually, loosing it's concentration as it staggered from the attack.
Ecalsneerg Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 "Go to Hell," growled Arrowhawk, pulling an arrow with a bulky tip from the quiver, and pulling it back. Hopefully the explosive tips would blast through the accursed thing's hide. He shot it even as it reeled from the monster's attack.
Cyroa Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 The special arrow drove deep into the creature's chest, causing it to scream in agony. The combined assault between the monster knawing on it and the archer's deadly arrows was suddenly a devastating combination. The demon was barely holding on, struggling to stay conscious and inflict some pain of it's own on the two meddlesome heroes.
Sandman XI Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 The beast continues to gnaw on the demonic being. Trying to make it stop moving is getting to be a bit frustrating. Then he finds it, a nice soft spot. If the beast could grin he would do so. Latching down on it he bites the demons fleshy bits for all it's worth. And it's worth a whole lot.
Cyroa Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 The creature shook it's head whiel the jaws clamped tightly down. If that didn't do it, the occassional raking claw certainly took care of the demon before too long. As the demon's body disappated, the archer and abomination were left alone for in the alley. Hell still raged around them, but for the moment, they were unnoticed.
Ecalsneerg Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Arrowhawk eyed the monster warily. Yeah, it had helped him kill the demon. Didn't mean it was friendly. "I haven't seen your like around here, mate. Are you one of them?"
Sandman XI Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 The grisly beast drops the seemingly lifeless demon from it's massive jowls. It seems Arrowhawk doesn't trust the form he's in. Having a bit of a sense of humor in dark times would help here, even if it is a bit warped. The beast would be the beast for a while. What other times do you get to be a wrecking force for the forces of good? Well, besides everyday. This would be his first time. The beast sits on it's hindquarters and winks with a nod to Arrowhawk, assuring him that he will not harm him.
Ecalsneerg Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Arrowhawk narrowed his eyes and glared. "Ok, but try anything, you're dead where you stand. Now, we need to get civilians the hell out of here, so follow me and try not to attract swarms of the damn demons, OK?"
