Cyroa
Succubbi (1d20:15+12=27) (1d20:5+12=17) 1 makes it, one doesn't... the one who made REF (1d20:16+8=24) SAFE! The other (who's down 1 wound) (1d20:18+7=25) takes another wound! Link to comment
quotemyname
So I'm assuming they failed their saves vs. my emotion control? I don't see them posted anywhere, but the IC seems to imply that they're my newest fans :P Link to comment
Cyroa
well...they failed; it's just not having the exact effect you planned. Hence the fact that they're still hostile but not attacking... Link to comment
quotemyname
Interesting. Who's turn is it then? Link to comment
quotemyname
Ack. Okay. Well with the two demons currently not attacking, I think I'll perpetuate the current "not attacking" thing. I'll switch to Jazz form and see what I can do with words instead of actions E-Control calm again, DC 21 Will (and it's subtle) Link to comment
Cyroa
(08:04:07) Cyroa: she's giving up the car???? wow, that's love right there! (08:04:54) Electra: It's a time for epic sacrifices to be made. (08:05:05) Cyroa: heh (08:05:50) Electra: She'll just nag him into letting her drive it sometimes. "Remember that time when I SAVED YOU FROM BECOMING THE PRINCE OF HELL and you STABBED me? AGAIN?" (08:08:20) Electra: Which reminds me, as often as it comes up, I should have Erin pick up some kind of immunity to frickin-hellfire-sword. ;-) (08:08:46) Cyroa: Let's hope it doesn't come up again ok, who's next? Avenger Assembled
That's the usual DC 21 Reflex/DC 26 Toughness for all demons. :awesome: Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
What the heck, I surge and hit 'em again! Link to comment
Cyroa
4 arm (1d20:17+8=25) Spikey (1d20:1+11=12) Spike tough (1d20:16+10=26) Nothing! 4 armed tough vs DC 20 since made it (1d20:4+14=18) Nuts. Takes 1 wound. And since Edge surged AGAIN… 4armed (1d20:16+8=24) Spikey! (1d20:19+11=30) Makes it and takes nothing!! 4 armed toughness vs 20 (1d20:7+13=20) HAH! NOTHING! All that, and only 1 wound is dealt! HAH! Take that luck boy! :) Link to comment
angrydurf
I think we still need the saves from the Injured demons by James and Erin and the two Succubi. Or are they all to far away at this point? Link to comment
quotemyname
The IC post certainly makes it sound like they get hit. And the OOC does say it targets all the demons. (unless they're already out of the fight and no one told me?) Link to comment
Cyroa
The two succubbi were flying up and away (I posted their saves). Haven’t posted the IC yet, was just waiting for their turn. The 3 messed up ones: yes, they should be getting a save from Edge's attack but I'm not listing it as it doesn't matter. (You'll see shortly as I get the IC post up. ) Init Order Breakdown - 24 James - 23 Edge - 22 Demons - 20 Psyche - 19 Phalanx - 17 Wander – 16 Link to comment
Cyroa
And that's a DC 24 Will roll from everyone please. (Fear) If you failed, you're frozen with fear this round. Think of it as dramitic pause if you like ;) Link to comment
angrydurf
Phalanx is Fearless as well. Link to comment
alderwitch
25, a pass if barely Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Personally, I think a little fear is acceptable under these circumstances. Link to comment
quotemyname
Will vs Fear DC 24 (1d20+12=32) I ain't afraid of no ghost. Link to comment
Electra
Okay, let's roll that beautiful bean foota... that quartet of DC 24 exotic saves! Two failed fort saves. One passed, one narrowly failed will save With the HP from her complication, Erin has 3HP remaining. She will spend two to reroll the fort saves. HP reroll on both fort saves, one pass, one fail. ...Okay, Scratch that, make it one passed fort save, one HP spent, and another failed will save Erin's down to two HP remaining, and failed two will saves. Electra
And as a result: 22:45:00) Cyroa: (whispers) here we go. Will: all non-innate powers are nullified. new will failed: Mental Transform. Effectively, as the sum of both effects: she's sort of frozen/paralyzed. think suspended animation but still cognizant. But she'll appear dead to everyone almost everyone else. Including Psyche since her mental link thing will get nulled too and unless you want the effect to just get transferred back to James, you're probably gonna have to fall on him Link to comment
angrydurf
Nullify doesn't work like that. Its an opposed power check against each power nullified. (I think that the nullifier makes one check and the owners of the powers attempting to be nullified make power checks against that.) Unless its some kind of PL X Deus Ex kinda deal instead. Link to comment
Cyroa
I think it does work like that... Nullify: 3 points: Counter all effects at once. This level of Nullify is available only with the Gamemaster’s permission and may depend on the nature of effects in the setting. It doesn't say anywhere about making a ton of rolls to resist the one catch-all effect. It says make 1 roll. *shrug* Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
It's fine, Cy. Durf is technically correct in how Nullify works, but this is a dramatic moment, one that's significantly cooler than making Electra roll repeatedly. Go with it, I sez. =) Link to comment
angrydurf
Well I guess I get to take on the big bad then. All-out attack, Power attack, 1d20+10=25 DC 34 toughness save. Link to comment
