Geez3r Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 GM ONLY POST The monstrous snowman flailed around in pain as Divine attempted it rip out its eyes. The little buggers were solidly in there however, that's probably where the animation magic was strongest. Thoroughly infuriated, the creature crashed its two tree like arms on either side of the annoying gnat on his head, crushing Divine with an impressive amount of force. After the bone crunching sound echos throughout the area, Medea cackled madly. "All that awaits you is a life of pain! But do not despair, I shall free you from your pain once I dispose of this eye sore!" Atlas' mind was again assaulted.
Geez3r Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 It had been a while since Atlas had felt pain of this magnitude and it was a sensation he had not missed in the slightest. His vision clouded and the tunnel started to close as the darkness swelled. But that sickening crash above him snapped him back to his senses with a cry of "Moira!" He stood back to his full height, menacing eyes fixed on Medea, the source of all this. He leaps through the air slamming back to the ground next to Medea, he takes a swipe at Medea as he slides past, but she ducks under the attack. "Stop this now!" "Only on your life." retorts Medea.
Moira Morley Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Stubbornly, Moira still pulled at the eyes. The snowman didn't need to see! It was harder than she thought it would be. Though in her stubbornness came her wake up call. the giant trees Atlas had put for arms found their mark. Moira felt squished. She let go of the eyes as the evergreens toppled on top of her. Son of a... THAT HURT! She was covered in pine needles and her new dress was wet and torn. Moira had had enough of this! No one ruined her Christmas gifts! She crawled down in front of the snowman's face and wrapped her legs half way around it's thick neck and grabbed one of it's arms as it flailed then began to pull on the arm and tighten around the neck. There was a plan to her madness. The momentum would either leave it headless or with one less arm. Something had to break.
Geez3r Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 The snowman continued to stay in one piece for the moment. There was a great deal of snapping and cracking from the arms and the head, but for now the beast remained in one piece. No sooner had Atlas's passed over Medea's head did the vile sorceress disappear from this dimension. "You've made a powerful enemy this day, and I will have my revenge, even if it takes me 100 years!" swore Medea as her form turned to smoke and she disappeared on the winds. "Not one to fight your own battles, coward." Atlas leaped across the park again to lend aid to Moira who was still fighting the remarkably resilient snowman. He landed a flying drop kick on the creature, shaking snow out of its tree like arms, but the beast still stood strong.
Moira Morley Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Moira's grip was slipping She had to do something fast or she was about to be the snowman's play toy. Luckily for her the answer came in the form of a Big Red Man. The dropkick that sent Frosty reeling sent Moira flying off the behemoth. Atlas knew how to make a dynamic entry. Picking herself up, she smiled wickedly, looking to Atlas with a knowing nod. It was time to finish knocking this snowman once and for all.
Geez3r Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Fighting along side of someone is one of the fastest ways of getting to know them. You know their likes and dislikes, and you know how they operate. You also know when they get a hair-brained idea; this was one of those times. But Atlas had always been a sucker for a pretty face, so he was right on board. The duo ran towards one another, Divine leaping into the air as they drew close. In one fluid motion, Atlas caught Divine with a single hand and turned to face the fiendish snowman. Planting his foot with enough force to shake the snow off the trees nearly 50ft away, Atlas hurled Divine at their adversary at super sonic speeds. A brief moment before impact, the sun broke through the clouds. Divine was wreathed in the light celestial fire; the aspect of fury herself. The crushing sound of the impact could allegedly be heard over a mile away as Divine simply shredded the body of the snowman. Her foe fallen, Divine skidded to a halt in a crouch some distance away. The vile creation became engulfed in eldrich fire as it eerily lifted off the ground. In it's death throws, bolts of eldrich energy cascaded throughout the area. Then, for the briefest of moments, there was silence as a certain top hat fell onto the brow of Divine and then the snowball exploded in an inferno of eldrich energy. As purple flecks of energy sprinkled down to the ground below, Atlas wrapped an arm around Divine's waist. "Merry Christmas."
