alderwitch Posted January 1, 2010 Author Posted January 1, 2010 Whoops, I meant JANUARY 3rd. <.< Nothing to see here!
Dr Archeville Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Ah, so Pressing Concerns & Growing Up Vampire is after White Wedding?
Dr Archeville Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Wedding Gift (which'll eventually be revealed in the White Wedding thread) = a "super-vroomaba" robot that can clean and do other minor household chores (it's spherical and can fly, so can reach far more places than a normal vroomba). And it can synthesize a blood substitute that should meet Jack's dietary needs. (Whether it actually does or not I'm leaving up to Avenger.) "She looks a tiny bit different" = Science! Increased progesterone levels during pregnancy causes slight acne & breast size to increase. Doc, having an eidetic memory and a keen eye, could pick up on the differences. Or it could be a result of her eating too much chocolate ;)
angrydurf Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Scientific expertise on the topic is...rare. You left out "And almost exclusively the province of hunters." :P
alderwitch Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 A 12-14 week old male fetus. With the basic readouts that I assume Doc is running, he could easily diagnose that Taylor's anemic and her heart and regenerative abilities are working overtime to replenish her blood supply. Her heart is pumping at an accelerated rate even taking into account her adrenaline response to the machines (which is not insignificant), and her blood pressure is low but not dangerously so.
Dr Archeville Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Sorry, some RL issues have been dragging me away from here lately.
Dr Archeville Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 A 12-14 week old male fetus. And now the $64,000 question: a male what fetus? Full normal human? Dhampir hybrid? Something from out of left field, like a Danny Phantom-esque "half-ghost"?
Avenger Assembled Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 http://www.sff.net/people/doylemacdonald/L_damned.htm Or, dhampir. ;)
alderwitch Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 Dhampir. The baby is alive for all intents and purposes but possesses some of Taylor's mystical connection to the Void. He'll actually be native to that plane, not prime.
Dr Archeville Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Today's XKCD shows why you don't go to Geckoman for your Ob/Gyn needs.
Dr Archeville Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Sooo... do Avenger's swimmers swim? Or are they dead matter, like him?
Avenger Assembled Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 They are horribly vital and alive, wriggling with unnatural vitality. If introduced to live tissue, they do HORRIBLE things.
Dr Archeville Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Awesome Do they share Avenger's anti-tech cloaking field (like I've been saying his skin samples do)?
Dr Archeville Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I know AW's been ill of late, but do you know if she'd had any plans to continue this thread? Did y'all wants the results here, or in another thread?
alderwitch Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Sorry! Catching up now. In this thread is fine, I think we can time lapse forward to doc's call?
