Avenger Assembled
I'll roll for them as a group, since they're acting simultaneously. The Omegadrones pass the initial save, and are fine. Shadivan Steelgrave has killed and eaten better men than you. Phalanx is up. Link to comment
angrydurf
Ok lets see what works. Unrealiable checks, Enhanced STR; Enhanced Con; Paragon Array. over ten and they work! (1d20=14, 1d20=18, 1d20=16) They all work. Missed immunity Immunity: Life Support Over 10 and it works (1d20=18) Not worrying about super-senses right now as he's not really using them. Setting paragon Array to 9 super-strength heavy load is 800tons. How much does this gun weigh? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Okay, Mike's going to be feeling the heat. (It's not that bad, since Geckoman's not on fire, but he'll definitely notice it.) It's fixed in the ground; give me a Strength check to wrench it free. Once you do get it out, it's light enough for you to carry. Link to comment
angrydurf
Strength check (1d20+23=31) HP Reroll (1d20+23=36) Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
More than sufficient! Given the weight's impediment and the fact that you're working at Flight 1, you'll get there on your initiative in the next round. Link to comment
angrydurf
Alright sounds good. Also gives folks time to tell me not to throw it in the volcano it its a Bad Idea tm :) Link to comment
Electra
Erin's doing a full power attack, aiming to grapple. That's an attack of +8, +5 to the grapple check, and normal +13 defense, before you take into account whatever he did with his taunting. Since Steelgrave is prone, the attack hits. Got a nat 20 on the grapple roll, for a total DC of 50. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Steelgrave holds his action till the Omegadrones go. Psyche is up, then Hellion. Link to comment
alderwitch
Unreliable array works this round I'm going to stunt a mind control effect on the omega drones this round as I don't think regular mind control would work, am I right? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
I'm not comfortable with Psyche pitting her will directly against the might of the Terminus Collective. If any PL 11 telepath can do that, why don't more of them? Have an HP for that, though, since it's not in the book. Stunt something else? =) Link to comment
alderwitch
Hokay. I would like to note that as a PL11 psychic, Psyche's close to or on par with the Scarab so I think the 'just a telepath' label is a bit unfair How does Machine Animation 14 (Extra: Range: Perception) (42 pp) on Edge's tube work? She'll use her mind to take over the device and force it to unlock and eject Mark. Hopefully unharmed :D Link to comment
Cyroa
what do I know o' wise one? ;) Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
That'll work, alder! Mark'll get ejected this round. James, nothing bad will happen to the dimensions if they drop the gun in the volcano. It's a defense system, not part of the main facility. Steelgrave and the Omegadrones go next. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Geckoman is up, then Phalanx. Things will start hitting lava (and not taking damage before then, because it's Comic Book Science!) at count 10 on the initiative order next round. Next round, Mark goes on 23. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Wander and Steelgrave are hovering, though that may change next round when he realizes she's not letting go. Edge and Geckoman are the ones in danger of falling into the volcano. Link to comment
Ecalsneerg
Reflex (1d20+7=13) Frick! HP re-roll! Again! (1d20+7=24) Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Geckoman (and Edge) are successful. Phalanx is up. Durf, Phalanx is close enough to throw the gun in the volcano without having to spend a move action. Link to comment
angrydurf
Unreliable check (if needed): Enhanced STR; Enhanced CON; Flight; Immunity; Impervious TOU; Paragon Array. High is success! (1d20=19, 1d20=17, 1d20=2, 1d20=6, 1d20=18, 1d20=17) All successful but Flight(outside array) and Immunity, I'll spend 2 HP to make them work or 1 on immunity if I can't do both. HP: Heroic Feat: Improved Grab Drop the Gun in the volcano fly over to Steelgrave/Wander and attack Steelgrave, Attack roll on Steelgrave All-out attack 5, Power Attack 5, Def set to 1, Attack; Grapple. (1d20+8=21, 1d20+31=33) He's flat-footed so I think that'll hit DC 34 Toughness, and what is up with me and rolling under five on grapple checks, I'll roll with it Basic goal is to sucker punch Steelgrave and get a good grip on both so there is no volcano falling action. Let me know if I need to do something different in there for that. Link to comment
