Heritage Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 OOC thread for Grim's undercover assignment at Claremont!
Sandman XI Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Are you waiting for someone to post at this undisclosed location? When do the others come on?
Heritage Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 Okay, a quick question about Grim's last character edit, namely is it too late to make a change that would impact this thread? Most of Grim's powers don't work if she's using Morph for Disguise, but Shaen suggested I might give her a few ranks of Morph 'on the side', which can either stack with her Glamour or allow her to use her other Array powers whilst incognito (just with a less scary skill bonus). So can I use my 4pp for 2 ranks of Morph instead of boostimng her saves, and just do that next month? If not, Grim will just have to be more of a skill-and-feat based student, I guess. Either way, I'll get by and make the best of it (shrug).
angrydurf Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 thread has hardly started so I'm fine with it. Put up the edit request and you can use the variation as soon as the edits done ;)
Heritage Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Someone in the chat suggested making this device Grim describes an actual plot device, and giving anyone who tries to read her mind an HP for the blocked attempt. I forget who, one of the cool ones.
angrydurf Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 If Doc is interested in supplying such a device I'm fine with having it be a plot device of that nature
Dr Archeville Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 *Doc begins working on a very sleek tin foil hat*
Dr Archeville Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 In case it needs statting: Immunity 10 (mental effects; Flaws: Limited to half effect, Only vs. Psyche) Mind Shield 6
Heritage Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 Combining Enhanced Charisma and her 2 ranks of Morph.
Dr Archeville Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I believe that's a good place to segue from "background" to "the actual story" :)
Heritage Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 I believe that's a good place to segue from "background" to "the actual story" I agree!
Heritage Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Hmm, this doesn't seem to be a very popular thread; anything I can do to jazz it up for folks?
angrydurf Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I think at this point you can do a So (Grim) joined her new acquaintances for lunch, them none the wiser fo who she really was or her true purpose there. *** Later ... (Whatever Grim plans to do to find out whats up goes here)

(Whatever Grim plans to do to find out whats up goes here) I think for this thread to work, I have to be willing to have Grim do things she feels bad about; she'll feel icky, but it will make for a more interesting story.

Heridfel Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Any chance that Hub might be able to make an appearance somewhere during this thread? He's too old to be a Claremont student (and his secret identity is still secure, as far as he knows), but it'd be worthwhile to get back in the Southside area.

Hmm, I don't think he'd be a good fit for this particular thread, but I'd be happy to develop another one for Hub on the Southside, using either Grim or Gossamer.
Heritage Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Okay, posted based on info given to me by Electra, but she didn't mention what was in the journal.
Heritage Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Durf, are details of his nightmares indicated in his journals, as described in Phalanx's News write-up?
angrydurf Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Yes, there are mild variations but that is the central theme.
Heritage Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 Okay, I need to put this thread to bed; let's do this thing!
