Cyroa
the ooc room... Starting on ... Feb 6? Sure the 6th (unless someone says otherwise) Ace Avenger Fluer Jack of Blades Phantom and DS of course. Link to comment
Cyroa
EDS init (1d20+8=15) Feel free to do a post to respond right before the battle starts. But I need inits! Link to comment
Cyroa
Stesha is up first! Link to comment
Electra
Stesha will do a total defense maneuver while she is demanding some answers! Full round action, raises her defense to 13. Link to comment
Cyroa
ok....I think that hits. That would be a DC 36... Blast 16 (15 are penetrating) + Power attack for 5 (the power attack minus to his was countered by the all out attack... though his defense is almost nonexistant now. ) Link to comment
Electra
Stesha spends an HP to gain the Heroic Feat Interpose. It hurts and stings! Want me to actually roll it out, or should we assume that this is a suitably dramatic moment? Link to comment
Cyroa
Suitably dramatic works for me ;) Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
So what's the plan, Stans? Link to comment
angrydurf
Well I think Phantom is whipping up a ritual to make some kind of prison that'll hold him, once that is done we try and lure him in and either beat him up or trap him. Mostly trap him and probably have to fight him when he avoids our clever trap. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Well, I'm sure she can jury-rig something. <_ dc bluff check to resist eds being tricked href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2409160/">inside. Link to comment
angrydurf
Bluff (1d20+23=32) Ace'll follow Jacks lead. Also setting Gadgets to Immunity 2 (Gravity effects) Gravtic stabilizer and enhanced Feats 3 (Effects insubstantial 2, favored opponent(insubstantial beings)) Ghost dust. Link to comment
Gizmo
Can I use a DC 31 Bluff check to either Distract EDS or give the others a bonus to their checks by keeping his attention off of them? Keep in mind, nobody's actually explained to Jackie B what the specific plan is, so he's just defaulting to 'mocking certain doom' mode. Link to comment
alderwitch
Round one of jury rigging. Details and roll to follow when I get home and have book access. :D Link to comment
Cyroa
1d20+15=33 He won't go in (but not going to make that again). He'll miss/be distracted from whatever comes next. (The social types can have the HP for the setback.) Link to comment
Gizmo
Snaaaaap. Alright, if Jackie B tosses out a DC 31 Taunt, that'd give EDS a -2 penalty on saving against the others' Bluffs. Probably shoulda done that in the first place, in retrospect. Link to comment
Gizmo
Avenger ... spun on his heels, pointed at Evil Dark Star, and declared, "Why don't you come in here and say that to my face?!" I'm not the only one who's mind immediately jumped to that, right? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
DC 26 Bluff check, with some help from Taunts. Link to comment
Cyroa
Ace, Avenger and Jack are all peppered/showed/attacked 1d20+15=21 If a 21 hits (which sadly I don't think it does), it's a DC 27. Not a good showing to start sadly... Link to comment
Cyroa
what exactly is Taylor doing anyway? Trying to close the portal or something else? point cost/effect? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
EDS's attack misses Jack. Jack spends an HP (the one gained from defending Taylor) to acquire a rank of Equipment. He puts it toward the apartment's defense systems. Using his newly gained 5 EP, he buys the following powers: 1. Snare 13 (PFs: Affects Insubstantial 2) 2. Drain 13 (all ability scores) (Extras: Ranged) (Flaw: Unreliable [5 uses]) (PFs: Affects Insubstantial 2) 3. Dazzle 13 (all senses) (Flaws: Full-Round Action, Unreliable [5 uses]) 4. Paralyze 13 (PFs: Affects Insubstantial 2) 5. Blast 13 (PFs: Affects Insubstantial 2) He activates the Dazzle. He hits. DC 23 Reflex save to retain senses for the remainder of the round; DC 23 Fort to have them back next round. Actually, I'll hold off on my OOC post. This is the action I'll take when we're in Init. I have a 19 on my Init Link to comment
Cyroa
Ok, I need to know if Ace is unscathed (probably). Then, init's all. When the Ref roll is required (to save me time): Reflex (1d20+6=8) Yeah...EDS's reflex still sucks. init for EDS (1d20+8=24) damn, think that's the best init I've ever rolled for even DS ;) Link to comment
Gizmo
Initiative. (1d20+9=20) Boo. Link to comment
